Sol frowned some as the words of Elatha bounded through his head. While he wanted to know exactly how the other god spoke to him in such a way, what was said was of far more concern. He wasn't exactly sure why, but some part of him reverberated when the mentions of being absorbed by another were said. Perhaps it had to do with the stories of his origins as spoken by his people. After all, they did say that a beast, a dragon as he knew, was devastating them before he came along.

And the fact that he was able to transform into said beast laid further credence to that all. Of course, this line of thoughts gave him an idea as to how to distinguish himself from the other gods of this worlds. Giving Elatha a nod to say that he had, he speaks up, but not to his fellow god, not yet at least. "Please. Hold Scatha**," he starts. If successful in stopping her from leaving, he would continue.

"A gift I wish to give. To help light the darkest nights. Also, a sign of me."

The Shadow turned her horse back so that she was facing the pair of gods once more. “A gift?” she repeated with a quizzical look. “I would not refuse,” she said. “I know that gifts from gods have helped me in the past.”
She patted the spear she carried, and then guided her horse back to Elatha and Sol.

Elatha looked to Sol and stepped to the side. He was interested in what the young god had to give her. The objects given to mortals by gods became artifacts of myth and legend, spoken of and passed down through all of time. It was no small thing for a mortal being, even a powerful one like the Warrior Maiden, to hold something produced or owned by a god. Such objects had even been the source of war and destruction, and in the wrong hands could bring devastation to civilizations. Were Elatha not familiar with Scatha*h and her virtuous nobility, he might have advised Sol against offering anything to her.

But Scatha** was good enough to wield something given to her by a god, strong enough to defend it from evil, and perhaps* if matters were as dark as Elatha feared they might be, Scatha** would need more than her natural power and her spear to fight the enemies she would face in due time.
