OK, the effect can keep going, so long as it doesn't kill everything it touches.
Annie, your recent post is fine, though it sounds like Annie did not notice the twenty-foot-tall monster until she reached the keep! But at least she casts magic and rocks at the arch demon, and hopefully, Zaphiran can shoot arrows and Farren shoot his crossbow at her, too, or do something.
Anyways, today, I fixed my two one-handed swords! I just used a welder and angle grinder, “welding” the end of the tang until red-hot, mounting the fittings, and then hammering the red-hot *welded” end with a hammer. I then used an angle grinder to get rid of excess welding ****, hammered all around with a peening hammer, and peened the tang onto the pommel solidly. The hilts are not firm and don't shake like they used to, and although rather ugly and tarnished-looking due to my inexperience, at least they are functional. I am currently trying to figure out how to get the broken tang back onto the bottom of the blade of my falchion, I may have to weld something new on it and then drill a hole clean through its pommel from the top down.
