Hmm. Alright. I was curious only because I'm sure there's demons out there like Amelia who hate what they are but would be more inclined than her to actually put effort into stopping more like themselves from existing, therefore giving some rather zealous individuals should the Inquisition care to use them for that purpose.


For god's sake, Annie, that's so blatantly a copy/paste bio it's ridiculous. At least put SOME effort into it. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

You'll find that the Golden Chapter is far more reasonable in that regard, although they still wouldn't openly accept you, you will be heavily mistrusted, and you will never play a key role or have key knowledge of any of their plans. At some point down the road they may also decide to betray you.

But yeah, if you're a demon it is best to avoid the Inquisition, period. I intended for them to be a mostly antagonistic faction that only occasionally helps the heroes out when they have a common goal, like killing an Archdemon. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

I figured, but it was something I just wanted to clarify for myself. It's somewhat of a design flaw from my perspective (being all logical and ****, of course, which is completely different from the zealous path the Inquisition takes) but it's reasonable and what one would expect from such an organization.



I can see it's your bio, but I can also see that you didn't even bother to use the format on the first page. That bio looks exactly the same as the one you've posted on a thread that doesn't relate well to this one.

Please, don't take this as me insulting you. I'm trying to help you develop your writing skills, and make it look like you actually care about what you're doing. A bio like that says, to me at least, that you didn't have any real ideas fitting the setting so you just threw up something else, and that tells whoever you're submitting it to that you just don't care about what you're doing.

Regardless, it's not my place to say whether it's acceptable or not. It might contain everything needed, but it just looks like you didn't bother to try. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

I know, I myself worry about whether or not I will actually be able to put myself in that mindset when writing posts.

Also Annie, I'm looking at your bios for As Demons Weeping, Into the Fire, and The Lost Kingdom. Some sections are literally copied word for word. All we're asking is that you try to be a bit more creative, since this is a forum that encourages creativity, and you have been recycling the same character for years now. Recycling the same character isn't even the problem, or that bad, provided they're made to fit the story that they're being put into. Hell, I've used the same character plenty of times, but it's always worthwhile to bear in mind that the world they're going into isn't the same world that they just came out of. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

Yeah, I recycle characters as well, but with Annie it's different since she only has like one character. The only exceptions I can think of off the bat are Judy and Angel. And there were some points in Champions Guild where I honestly thought Annie forgot Judy's existence, since there were entire events where she wasn't even mentioned. And when she was, it was just to back up whatever Annie (the character) was saying/doing.

Also, you and me can make original characters if we need to, while Annie always seems to have trouble whenever she is told her traditional model won't work. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

Nice to see discussion about my RP! Since the Inquisition in Capt's creation, it is part of his RPing most of the time. I will attempt to continue the RP with Darius as the cardinal soon; Emo can RP as Fergus and mention what Fergus knows about Zaphiran.

I have also reworked Annie's bio to fit the RP, as she seems to have used another prompt and there is a contradiction at the start and finish, leaving me to be presumptuous about some points. It does seem Annie uses the same character repeatedly, which I wonder how she can handle, but if that's what she wants to do, alrighty then. I will await Annie's intro and then see what I can do.

Presumably, the Black Hand is a criminal organisation and/or espionage syndicate of some kind or something, but yes, it would be nice to get more details about that, as well as if Annie is an elven Cambion or half-human half-elf. I must wait until Annie's response to clear-up those points for me.
