Don't worry Annie, I can help you all the time with your posts. I will attempt to at least merge Bob and Annie, so that they can help each other, then move into the finale of the Collector subplot with NotFishing's Lok'Thadamee.

In other topics, I was lately thinking about the new technology that allows doctors to ''edit'' the human genome directly of an individual baby. Taking this a step further, I think you could even do so while the baby is pre-foetal, or indeed, while grown in a test tube. I'm starting to think that a real-life Clone Wars may happen in the next century!

Another thought, ever since Hitler attempted to create a master race, what would happen if we did indeed create a superhuman race? If they were inherently superior to us in everything, they would eventually replace us. They would view us as inferior, stupider, slower, weaker, and obsolete, so they would eventually start thinking something like, "we don't need them, and we're probably better off without them'' while idealizing their own utopia.

This is the plot of Gundam: Seed in a nutshell (complete with space Hitler, SIEG ZEON – uh, I mean... SEIG ZAFT!). I thought they discussed problem quite well with the main character. He is the "apex" of designer baby research, and is by far the most talented character in the series... yet, he still gets caught in drama, he still feels emotion, and he still has to research what he doesn't know.

In short: just because you're talented doesn't make you infallible.

That said, the guy is unbeatable in mobile suit fights, wins gunfights by throwing the gun because he doesn't like the noise it makes, teaches university tutors, gets hitched to the top-charting political activist turned pop-idol, and steals the role of "protagonist" from the "main character" of the sequal. So I'd take this message with a grain of salt. This guy is called "god messiah Kira" for a reason!

Now imagine an entire city full of guys like him.

Anyways, GUNDAM Journey to Jabero (or whatever it's called) was one of my most favorite games, never watched it, tho. It is a bit of an old cartoon, but the PS2 game was pretty cool. It had a cool setting, allowing you play as Zeon and sometimes fight enemy Gundams, with one cool level having a giant plane you either defended or destroyed.

Orphen: Scion of Sorcery was also a really cool game, but, as always, I did not watch the series. I seem quite bad at watching series, I don't think I ever finished watching any cartoon series, ever. My autism must make me bored of things quickly, though I'm usually excited in making a new story or role-play world.

I'll do you one better. They have an autonomous republic in space, because the radical racists on Earth don't like them (and somehow weaselled their way into high government).

The result is a world of legalised terrorists fighting for “the sakes of the blue and pure world” on Earth, and space Hitler in space leading his oppressed chosen people against the unclean masses. Both sides have superweapons, and they do begin using them.

Clones are a race?
If they live in space, they will eventually run out of resources, and will need to go somewhere, like Mars (assuming it was terraformed and colonized). Not surprised this led to war. Oh, and to those who can create superhumans, be sure to modify their genetics to make them very vulnerable to, say, smallpox, for example. That way, you can easily wipe most out with some biological warfare!

If ethics block your foresight and become your downfall, you have only yourself to blame. Only the wise can think ahead, after all. And so it is, that, sometimes, doing the ethical thing isn't the right thing, and doing the demonic thing can be the right thing. Survival is the responsibility of the individual.

...and I am a complete hypocrite for saying that, because sometimes, I can't sleep at night because I feel so bad for all the suffering and terror there is in some parts of the world. The good things, even when they are few and far between, are what makes everything so worth it, especially if you can be involved.

And, I'm off to bed, as it's almost 1AM, but I don't feel tired.
