“So… What are they like?” Azura asked, she sounded a little nervous. She was the only one of the group who had never visited the Fremennik people, and had heard rumors of them being completely barbaric, but she had also heard they were some of the kindest and fair people one would meet.

“They are good drinkers.” Anastasia quickly answered.

“Fantastic marksmen, too.” Lowe added in “I once saw a Fremennik hunter by the name of Sigil land his arrow in the skull of a daggermouth, from the ship we were traveling in, to the shore. I’d guess it was just under a quarter of a mile away. I’m still not sure if it was luck, or extreme skill, but I saw it with my good eye.”

Aiden spoke up as well “I was just minding my own business, sitting in the longhall, eating when suddenly a man dressed in nothing but what Guthix gave him walked in, with a dead bear on his shoulders, a fully grown, adult bear. He was nearly dead, and collapsed into the ground, but he still killed a bear with his hands.” Caden laughed, the mental image was hilarious.

“Did.. he survive his wounds?” Azura asked, genuine concern seemed to be planted on her face. Aiden chuckled.

“Hell yea, those guys are tough as… steel.” It only took about one more hours worth of walking at a casual pace, and the simple, although charming town of Rellekka was in sight. A large row of spears lined the entire town, dead trees outnumbered the living, and the howling of wolves could suddenly be heard in the distance. It was starting to become more cool, and a eerie feeling took the group by the shoulders as massive, rumbling storm clouds began blowing in from the north.

Two large, and impressive men stood at the entrance of the town, they both carried large shields, and the same horned helmet that Aiden and Caden wore. as the group approached the two large men. As the two cold men took notice of the group, they instantly halted their conversation, and their fierce eyes began to scan them. "What be your business 'ere?"

“Looking for passage to Lunar Isle.” Anastasia responded firmly. The man eyed her for a moment, but ultimately said nothing.

“It’s the Chief you want to speak with.” He said after a pause “He’s lurking in the longhall, no doubt.” He motioned for them to go on in. the locals all gave stares as they hastily walked towards the large hall in which food and drink were consumed en masse. An arrow landed inches away from Lowe’s head, burying itself into the doorframe of the longhouse. Lowe spun around, tossing a dagger the he had concealed in his leather, it sliced ever so slightly into the hunter’s sleeve, drawing no blood and breaking no skin. Emotionless glares were exchanged between the hooded huntsman and Lowe, the group wasn’t sure what to think, or do.

“So how have you been?” the hooded man finally asked. Lowe’s menacing expression instantly disappeared, and turned to a casual smile.

“Good, the shop is still pulling in profit, and having a shop in the slums means rent is low. ‘Course, working gets in the way of adventuring, so we’ve come down to visit the Lunar Isles, you remember everyone, right?” the hooded man eyed the silent group, which stood behind Lowe

“I remember the big ones, you.. the foreign girl seems familiar, but who is this Al Khairdian before me?”

“Of course.. where are my manners?” he smiled, “Azura, I’d like you to meet Sigil, he is the hunter I was telling you about, earlier.” Azura’s nervousness dissolved, this was the first Fremennik she had ever met, and he was a master huntsman! She couldn’t wait to tell her friends back in Al Khaird. She eagerly shook his hand, smiling with her perfect teeth.

“I am Azura!” she said loudly, the man’s weathered face twisted to a smile for a brief moment.

“I heard you talkin’ about heading over to those Lunar Isles.” Sigil began “Fair warning, a powerful storm was predicted, by Peer the Seer, He said it’d blow over any vessel.* Lowe wasn’t sure if he liked the sounds of that.

“Haha!” A cocky voice ringed out, it was Lokar Searunner, the rather unlucky pirate in charge of rowing passengers back to the main vessel of Captain Bentley’s impressive ship. “Haven’t you seen ‘ole Captain’s ship? It’s bigger than your hall! She can brave any sea, why… I don’t think the gods themselves could sink that ship.”

“Watch your tongue, it’s talk like that, which gets people smitten.” Lokar ignored Sigil.

“Sorry though mates, Cap’n is attending to… business, we ain’t ferrying anyone today, but if you wait till tomorrow mornin’, I promise with all mah heart, that we can getcha out to those Lunar folk.” He licked his lips before continuing “Rellekka is a nice place though, plenty to keep you busy.” The group wasn’t sure what to think as the odd pirate man strolled away. He claims the ship is unsinkable, but he did*’t exactly look like the most trust worthy character around. On the other hand, the Seer claims the storm will be an unstoppable raging force that will devastate anything in the sea, but people have exaggerated before..

“We’ll cast a vote.” Lowe said “We can either stay here in Rellekka for a few days, let the storm pass, or we can head out to sea, and trust that the ship really is unsinkable. All in favour of going in the morning, raise your hand.” Aid and Caden’s hands shot up, the two loved the thrill of dangerous adventures. Forrest’s hand slowly went up, he doubted the storm would really be that bad. Anastasia lifted her arm as well, she could just stay drunk during the storm, she wouldn’t even remember the fear. Azura, trying not to look like a coward also raised her hand. Lowe chuckled “Well, I guess that settles it.”

“Be careful, I don’* want to fish around for your corpses.” Sigil said in a sarcastic manner “But I’ve got things to attend to, enjoy the town.” He said, heading out into the forest, probably on the hunt as always.

“We should get rite of passage from Chief.” Anastasiasaid “Is no point of going to the islands, and the people rejecting us.” The group nodded, and headed inside the longhouse. As they pushed open the massive doors, they were hit with the roar of laughter, strong alcohol, and fresh meats, and it was only noon.
