I'm ready to start a new story, i've recived inspiration from a number of sources, but I assure you this is no direct rip from anything. *waits to be proven wrong* and I hope you will enjoy it. Although please obey the rules...

Oh, also try to imagine RuneScape as being larger, as in cities are actually large, and filled to the brim with people, trees are actually tree sized, ect..

The sun was just barely peeking over the horizon, casting a dim glow across the city of Varrock. It was time for thieves and muggers to retire to bed, guards swapped positions and some headed in for breakfast. Others were heading to the walls to spend another six hours staring out into the distance, desperate for something interesting to happen. Miners, lumberjacks, bakers and men of all trades began to slip on their work boots, kiss their wives, and head out, ready for another long days work, bringing them one day closer to the weekend.
On this dull day, with normal events beginning to play out, a woman awoke. A beam of sunlight had crawled through her window. She rolled over, and grunted. She gasped and leapt forward out of bed, her heart pounded and she was suddenly filled with anxiety. She reached over to her simple oak bed stand and removed the shot glass from the top of her bottle of brandy. She poured herself a shot, and quickly swallowed the entire contents of the glass. That never ending question repeated itself, why do the people here in these silly cities, rely so heavily on coffee and tea, when a strong whisky will get you started in just one small cup. She shook her, and decided she needed two shots today.
After the third drink, she finally began to prepare herself for the events that would be happening today. She brushed her shoulder length blonde hair only for a moment, before slipping into her tight, black dragon hide leather. After putting on a grimy looking pair of socks, she slipped on her favorite pair of worn out boots. She had purchased them in the Mother Country, and they had lasted her for the past six years. She doubted anyone in the region of Misthalin could make a pair of boots this well. She opened her backpack, and placed a folded animal hide coat in the leather backpack. She had owned this coat since she was small, and it had only recently begun to fit her well.

She filled the backpack with assorted items she felt she would need. Potions, vodka, her short bow, a quiver of arrows she had made herself, and assorted dried foods and fruits. She placed the backpack by the rickety looking front door, full of holes that the sun shined through. She poured herself a glass of milk. She shoved some logs into her stove and burst them into flames using her father’s old trick. She kissed the beaten and old ruby necklace that her father had passed down to her, it had been in the family for nearly one hundred years, and she had fond memories of her dad using it to keep them warm during the harsh winters of the Mother Land.
Her pot of two day old stew was almost empty, and quickly warmed. She wasted no time in eating her fill of potatoe and beef stew. Satisfied and eager to get her day started for the trip ahead, she excitedly kicked her front door, in an attempt to open it. She sighed as the old door refused to open. She gave it one more strong kick, knocking it off it’s hinges, and landing on a street sweeper.
“Ahhhh!”, he shouted from outside. She covered her mouth, so her laughter would not be heard. She was careful not to step on the door as she exited the house. She lifted it off the man who was steaming with rage “What the hell is your problem, lady! Throwing doors at people…” the shaggy looking man began to mumble to himself as he dusted off, and resumed his duties of keeping the streets clean.

She lifted the door back into place, with a chuckle. Her mother did*’t know her own strength either. She sighed, and kicked the door inside, getting several confused looks from the assorted people traveling down the busy streets. She walked into her simple home and grabbed her small sword, it was about 42 inches long. She strapped it to her backpack and was certain there were no more items she required from her home. She departed, she hoped not to see her home for at least a month, she would much rather be exploring the realm of Gielinor. She lived in southern half of Varrock, next to the archery shop. It was probably less than a two minute walk to reach said shop. She crouched slightly to fit through the door, “Comrade!” her thickly accented voice bursted out. The one eyed ranging master, Lowe. He was leaning against the bow case. He was one of the very first people she had met when she arrived in Varrock.

“Well hello there!” he said cheerfully. He first met her when she was interested in buying some hunting bows, she was unfamiliar with the composite bows that he sold for hunting. He offered to teach her how to use them, and was surprised by her skill in archery. He was pleased he had offered to help her that day, as he had made a great friend a result. “I’m ready, I’ll go fetch Aidan and Caden how’s about you go and get Azura?”
“Alright Lowe, where will we meet?” she questioned. He rubbed his chin.
“We’ll meet at the western gate, we will be able to teleport without worrying about the swathes of people causing some kind of problem.”

“Alright then. See you soon.” She said with a smile, being careful not to bump her head on the way out. Lowe sighed, she was beautiful. He pulled on his backpack and set off to see if the two trouble makers were ready. The two left together, and Lowe locked the door behind him, he slipped the key into a plant pot outside, and began to walk towards the slums, where the two dwelled. He sighed to himself, she had a very pretty name too “Anastasia Fizzard.”, he wondered if it was strange to think about her so often, but quickly dismissed these thoughts as he stood before the run down building in which Aiden and Caden lived.
He slowly opened the door of the two story building, the first floor was a complete wreck, there was no signs of anyone living here other than rats, and maybe a few roaches. Lowe pushed his way through the trash and rubble, before reaching the decaying staircase which lead to the second story. At the top of the staircase was a small, albeit comfortable room. It had a stove, a pair of beds, two comfortable looking chairs, and there was room for a small table to eat at. Aiden and Caden were both asleep, although both were fully armored, and ready for combat. They were both extremely wealthy, and Lowe wasn’t entirely certain why they lived in the slums of Varrock, but you’d never meet two happier men.
“Waaaake uuuuuup….” Lowe said softly “it’s time to get going!”

Damn, they were always a pain in the ass to wake up, Lowe sighed, but not today! He meaningfully strolled to Aiden’s bedside, before pushing him off the comfortable bed, and into the cold, wooden floor. Aiden leapt up shortly after collapsing, raising his fists up to fight. “God damn it, Lowe.” He said with a sigh “Couldn’t you have shaken me awake, like a normal person?” Lowe laughed heartily, wiping a tear from his eye, he replied.
“Because we both know that doesn’t work. Now why did you go to sleep, in full armor?” Aiden looked slightly shameful, but he did reply “Is it because you did*’t think you’d get up early enough to get dressed in a timely manner?” the odd silence continued.
“CADEN!” Aiden shouted, his brother leapt from bed, his eyes wide as boulders. He quickly concluded that Lowe had waken Aiden in some manner that angered him, which means he was going to be Aiden’s victim. He sighed and slipped his backpack on.

“Well you two are ready to go, right?” Aiden asked, they replied with nods “So let’s get going.” He said, as he began descending down the rickety old staircase. Lowe refused to walk behind the two, they were both carrying large, heavy weapons, combined with heavy and thick armor, he doubted the staircase would hold all three of them. The trio finally exited the ‘home’, if you could call it a home.. and steadily made their way towards the western gate.

Anastasia pushed and shoved her way through the thick crowd of people, it was barely 7:00AM, and the busy streets of Varrock were already overrun by people. She finally managed to make her way into “Zaffs Staff Shop”. “Hello!” she said loudly, pushing the door open, the door bell ringed alerting Zaf* of her presence.

She smiled with a big grin and wrapped her long arms around the tiny man named Zaff. “How have you been?” she asked, releasing her death grip. The man straightened his back, and rubbed it to assure it was intact.
“Just fine.” His voice was cool and relaxed. Anastasia smiled.
“I’m here to pick up your niece.” But before Zaff could reply,
“I’ll be down in just a second!” Azura called down. Zaff sighed.
“I swear, that girl takes two hours to get ready for a walk. I wish she was more like you, and would chop her hair off, so she doesn’t have to devote so much time to it each morning, and I also don’t like the amount of make up she uses.” It was at that moment a costumer walked in, snatching Zaff’s attention. Anastasia was patient, like the elders of her old town. After roughly ten minutes the beautiful Azura climbed down the stairs into the main room of the shop. Anastasia had always admired the beauty of the Al Khairdian people, Azura’s skin was beautifully tanned, and she had lovely brown eyes, and flowing long black hair.
“How do I look?” She asked Anastasia, doing a 360 spin.
“You’re the only person who can look good in battle robes.” She replied with a laugh. “Now Mr. Zaff Sir, we must say our goodbyes.*

*I trust you’ll take good care of my niece.” He said sternly “But more importantly, have a good time over on those Lunar Isles, if you can, bring me some of those ‘Astral runes’, I’d love to study them.” Azura smiled, revealing her perfect, white teeth.
