“Yes uncle Zaff, love you, bye!” she said quickly, kissing him on the cheek, and running out the front door, nearly knocking over a costumer on his way in. Anastasia laughed and said her farewells to Zaff, before finally exiting. Zaff still didn't sit right with the idea of his nineteen year old niece traveling with a bunch of older men. He felt much better knowing that foreign girl was there, though.

As the girls exited the shop, a very quiet man began to trail them. He was unnoticed as they pushed their way through the crowd, but slowly getting closer and closer.
Walking through the streets of Varrock required a special kind of strength and skills, one had to be forceful and assertive, and polite simultaneously, and that was just walking. The man pursing them managed to dodge around people without ever colliding with anyone, he was very light on his feet, and agile. After fifteen minutes of shoving their way through the crowds, they had finally broken free, and were now at the guard infested western gate. They were heavily studied, but the guards quickly lost interest in the pair, they were probably going on a trip with those three other men that had be lingering just outside the walls of the city.

“Aiden, Caden!” Azura shouted happily, charging the two and giving them each a hug. Anastasia pulled her short hair behind her ears.

“You are getting sneakier every day.” She said to the man standing behind her, a small concealed knife poked into her back. The man giggled.

“Well thanks darling, I do try.

” Hey Forrest, you’ve left the forest! Caden said, laughing at his own joke, his brother quickly joined in. Azura ignored the joke and went on to give Forrest a hug as well.

“Alright, it** time to teleport, once we land in Camelot, there’s no going back, check your bags and make sure there is nothing you forgot.” He patiently awaited as his friends searched their leather sacks, bags and purses. Everyone was set to go.

*Hey Forrest, did*’t leave anything in the forest did ya!?” Caden bursted into laughter again, slapping his knee.

“Hey Caden, looks like you’ve gained even more weight since last time, you fatty.” Caden’s stomach was large, and muscular, but not very well defined, Forrest on the other hand, was very well defined, years of being a roaming lumberjack will do it to do you.

“Alright, that’s enough for now.* Lowe said calmly “I’m teleporting.”, Azura quickly shouted

“I’ve been working on a teleport group spell to Camelot, can I try it?* it was hard to argue with her beautiful dark eyes, but Lowe knew better, he had lost his eyebrows more than once to her experimental magic…

“Are you sure it works, and is safe?” Lowe asked quietly

“I know it works!” she said, ignoring the “safe” part of the question. She eagerly lifted her thin arms and unleashed the powerful, and untested teleport group spell.

Teleporting from a third person perspective appears simple enough, hold the correct combination of runes, and then you simply will yourself to teleport, some purple glowing vortex later, and you’ve teleported, nothing to it. In reality, teleporting twists and mangles your body, effectively chopping it into pieces, and then sucking it through space and time, tossing said pieces into the Abyssal Realm, and then redirecting them, and slowly assembling them on the way to the location they were trying to teleport to. This all happens in a matter of seconds, and it normally not as mind blowing as one would expect, but not this time…

A mushroom cloud explosion combined with a boom comparable to thunder terrified the Varrock guard, and citizens, and for a split second all was silent in the great city, before questions ringed out in the large crowd. “What the hell was that?” one guard asked another. He carefully removed a cigarette from his pocket, lit it and took a deep puff.

“I did*’t see anything.” He replied slowly, and calmly, before resuming his post. His friend was confused for a moment, before nodding and pretending like nothing happened, that made life so much less complex.

Outside of Camelot Castle’s front gate, there was a small group of spell casters, some practicing alchemy, others repeatedly teleporting in hopes of gaining a superior understanding of the art of magic. Casual conversation was carried on as they tried to break the monotone and boring tasks they were doing. A huge explosion combined with a thunderously loud boom both shocked, and tossed the small group around. Coughing and moans of pain echoed as the thick clouds of smoke cleared, once it finally did, it was revealed a small crater was left behind. “What… what happened?” a mage said, pulling himself from his hands and knees and back onto his feet.

“I, I don’t know, but I think my leg is broken..” another replied.

“That worked much better than expected.” Azura informed her battered companions. She was unscathed other than getting some soot on her clothes. Anastasia mustered all her strength to get to her feet.

“Next time we use normal spells.” She began to help the others to their feet.

“But my magic is sooo much fun!” Azura’s voice was annoyingly cheerful. Anastasia wiped her face clean of the dirt and soot, and reached into her backpack. She rummaged around, and occasionally mumbled something to herself. She had finally found it, her bottle of vodka, she removed the cork and took a deep drink, and continued to wipe her arm over her mouth.

“Zat hit the spot.” She said with a sigh, shoving the bottle back into her bag. Lowe had finally regained his bearings, and was ready to get the group moving, even if they might’ve broken a few things on the rather painful landing.

“Awesome, we’re so hardcore we use EXPLOSIVE teleports.” Lowe gave a rather dirty look to Azura, who simply giggled. “Everyone okay?” he finally asked.

Aiden had found his horned berserker helmet that was knocked off on their clumsy landing. He slipped it back on, and was starting to regret not installing straps onto the helm like his brother had done “Yeah, I’m fine, you okay Caden?” He was shaken up a bit, but otherwise fine.

“It’s all good over here.” Forrest somehow did*’t look so strange covered in dirt and soot, and he seemed to be just fine.

“I’m fine.” He said quietly. Lowe sighed, he loved Azura to pieces, but it never seized to infuriate him when things like this happened.

“Well come on slow pokes!” Azura said, energetically jogging towards Seers Village. The rest of her battered companions limped, not far behind.

It was a short jog for Azura to make it to the forked path, one road lead towards Seers Village, the road was very well kept, very clean and even had several guards keeping an eye on It. Ah, the taverns and shops in the town would be fun to browse through, and although it was still very early in the morning, it was never too early for a drink was it? If she wasn’t mistaken Anastasia started every day with a shot of whisky. “Heeey, guys!” She called back to her less than happy companions.

“Yeah?”

“What?” Aiden and Caiden simultaneously asked. The two could ring her neck right about now.

“I think we should stop here, and uh… rest!” she suggested, batting her eyelashes.

*That would not make sense. If we keep walking we could make it to Fremmnik province by late afternoon, if we stop and rest, we would have to camp.” Anastasia said with a shake of her head. Lowe agreed, it would be foolish to halt so soon, it was much easier to travel during the early hours than later in the day, when the sun was more fiercely shining.

“Yeah, that’s a no go Azura. Besides, why would we need to rest after… ten minutes of walking?” Lowe chimed in. Azura sighed and pouted her lips, but was ultimately ignored as the rest of the group walked past her, and down the other road, which was surrounded by trees on one side, and Camelot castle’s walls on the other. The road was relatively poorly kept compared to the road leading into Seers Village.

Aiden and Caden leaned in close and began to talk to one another in whispers, some mumbling and a giggle or two. “Hey, Forrest, feelin’ at home yet?” Forrest’s face was seemingly carved from stone, it was rare to catch him smiling, or using any facial expression, for that matter. And that is why Aiden and Caden enjoyed mocking him, as they longed for the day when he’d finally snap, and they would laugh for many hours. Assuming they weren’t missing limbs, he was pretty damn good with that hatchet of his.
