This means you'll have to revise the amount of mahjarrat left alive at the end of your story if you were planning to only let the known nine get away.
Or not, by now I think creative licence has kicked in, and you could have the next scene involving a welcoming party doing the can-can without it being spam. In fact some of the more hardcore fans would likely give it a standing ovation.

Firstly, Anton was right and it wasn't my idea. Chugoo1 explained it very well in my opinion. And why couldn't a character have two names? Khazard is a place, and after taking rule over it, the general could've made it his title:
General Khazard = General of Khazard
This is quite normal title usage. And Majharrat ARE NOT Undead. They are perfectly alive, and can take any form they want. This includes the form of a Sceleton, and I understand that as Lucien and Zemouregal continuously animate corpses, it might affect their look.
Also, we defeated the General, and he lost his human form, and was weakened. That could well have been the reason Azzandra couldn't sense his presence- he had been strongly weakened.

about the "general of khazard" thing, didn't we fight a "khazard general"**** general of khazard, in a previous gnome quest, in addition to "general khazard", the marjarrat, in fight arena quest? i think khazard is the marjarrat's name, just that he preferred to be called general.
