"I can tell if your mind bears signs of corruption, but I cannot tell you if it will corrupt your mind in the future if your mind is currently pure," Animus answered. "The mind is the link between the body and soul. It is more susceptible to corruption to the soul, but afflictions of the body may also spread to the mind. You would be wise to moniter yourself closely if you fear your mind will become influenced."
Umbra tilted his head slightly and arched an eyeridge. "Build me a body? Hah, I wouldn't believe such a thing possible... although I would hardly turn such a thing down if it were somehow possible... it would be astounding."
The mage let out a grunt, though it seemed he was wise enough not to attempt anything, simply remaining kneeling as his new captors. "Nothing but specifically prepared witchwood will keep that foul substance on this world, which I strongly doubt you possess. Magic does not last here."
The abomination let out another shriek, clearly frantic now as it attacked the seemingly impervious boundary of the circle. The sky continued to darken... then the creature abruptly exploded, showering the stone circle with a tarry substance. Aside from the residue, there was no sign it had even been there; even the bodies of the cultists were gone.
