"Then the matter is settled for the time being," Umbra concluded simply.
Caelidorus tilted his head slightly, then nodded in agreement. "Yes, that would probably be best. I suppose it is time to sleep. For us, at least."
"That would be a simple matter to address; I would merely 'speed up time,' so to speak, rather than induce a sleep state," Umbra answered. "If that is all... then I shall return the rest of you to sleep and to your bodies."
Animus tilted his head slightly, eying Rhen with what may have been curiosity. "Then we shall speak shortly, but Umbra will hear. It is impossible for him to not hear all that is said here."
"Hmph, you are rather apt in noting I would enjoy nothing of the sort, but again I have little choice in the matter," the man replied, somewhat sourly. "Do what you will with the leavings of that abomination, then, but I warn you any contact will be lethal. The disease it will infect you with will not be curable by any means from this world."
The creature let out another shriek, although there seemed to be some amount of desperation to its unearthly cries. The lights flickering through the air were beginning to fade; perhaps it sensed the Darkstar was departing.
((I was rather excited to see your name appear once more in-game. You're certainly welcome back to the roleplay, although it might take awhile to get into the flow of things again, so to speak.))
