(( I would prefer to remain in the city, seeing as there seems to be something important happening in northern Neuva, something that I don't feel like going back and reading up on to try and understand. I thank you for your understanding here; I'm glad that this thread seems to be devoid of the more arrogant, exclusive members of this forum (though I won't mention any names).
Nar, you probably don't know me due to my changed name, but I remember you.
I'll give you a hint: Apprentice to a Knight. ))
Noah walked quickly along the crowded streets of Glaruindem, trying his best to ignore the passersby and continue to his goal: the market. He intended to steal some food. Not much, just enough to get him by for a few more days. He preferred this sort of lifestyle as opposed to trying to find work legally. Stealing things, sometimes through murder, was almost like a game to him. Each time, he tried to see how much he could steal without putting himself in danger, the reward for succeeding to steal more being more food. He only killed people when he had been spotted, which didn't happen often, needing always to escape with no witnesses, and never robbed the dead, at least somewhat respecting those he'd murdered.
He tried his best not to look criminal, forcing his face into a light-hearted, upbeat expression. He approached the stalls of the market and, smelling freshly cooked bread, made his way to the baker's stall. Crouching as he walked ever-so-quietly around the stall, he managed to snatch a loaf of bread as the baker had turned away, proceeding to stuff it in a bag hanging from his belt and walking away, trying to look as innocent as possible.

(( EDIT: He's in Elune. ))

(( Aye I remember you. Good to see you again. Also ATAK is back up and going again.))
"I am more knowledgeable in the field of void magics but I understand the other fields to an extent as well. If we do come across any magical artifacts I will do my best to figure their workings. But I cannot promise anything as to analyze it we would have to goto Elune and with my infection I think I may be more concerned about that then the analysis of an artifact. But I shall try all the same." said Rhen.
"By the way Forlirn.........how much further is it to these ruins?" asked Rhen eager to reach their destination.

((Hello. I'm new to this thread and would like to know what is going on currently in this story, and would love to have an opportunity for adding a dragon character. Also, if it is acceptable to you Darlantan, I would like to make an Ancient dragon, lord of songs and music, if that is not yet taken.))

Name: Lyra (Musica)
Age: Unknown (fairly young for an ancient dragon)
Gender: Female
Race: Ancient Dragon
Appearance: In her dragon form, Lyra is mostly dark reddish purple, with variations of the color in certain areas. She is rather large for a dragon, and like many of her kind is rather lean and well muscled. Her eyes are a bright gold and have somewhat of the look of a cat's. Her snout is smooth and almost wedge-shaped. On the larger scales surrounding her head, and on the veins of her abnormally large wings, are accents of gold. On her head is a large golden mark shaped like a lyre. She has very long, sharp teeth, and talons. The end of her tail is spiked and shaped like a blade.
In her humanoid form, she is about 6'2 in height, and has the general appearance of a 35-year-old woman. She is, as in her dragon form, very lean and well-muscled. Her hair is mid-length, extremely thick, and is a purplish black. She tends to wear it loose or in a thick bun. She is a bit on the pale side in terms of skin color. She has minuscule gold rune tattoos around her eyes, which from a distance blur into a thick line. Her eyes, much like in her dragon form, are golden and cat-like. She partially retains her sharp teeth and talons in her human form. Lyra most commonly wears a long dark purple robe, with a golden belt made out of what seems to be metal dragon scales.
Magic: Her magic abilities in dragon form mostly come from her ability to sing. Through different pitches and different volumes she has a range of ability from destroying a building, to healing the wounded. If all else fails, she has her sharp teeth, talons, and flight ability to fall back on. In humanoid form, she plays the lyre, as well as sings. Her destructive and healing power are far weaker, but her mere speaking voice is hypnotic, and she can confuse beyond reason. She also carries two golden swords at her sides. Her vocal magic still works in Neuva.
Personality: Lyra is rather

Friendly, and is often kind to those who appreciate her realm. However, those who criticize, and mar of music may find themselves faced with her wrath. When angry she is a nightmare to those who have provoked her.
History: Lyra was born in Elune, and cares deeply for her home world. She would prefer to forget her childhood, and does not wish to describe it here. She spent most of her time wandering aroung Elune in her human form, looking for those who are naturally gifted in music and, at times, tutoring them. She now lives in the outskirts of Elune, and assists those who happen to wander by her cave. She will however, at times, visit the city with the intent to see her brothers and sisters (or other ancient dragons).
Weaponry: Stated in magic section. She also has the ability to breathe golden fire, which I forgot to mention.
Type: Ancient Sound Dragon- The sound dragons are a massive, yet lean type of dragon, capable of flying near to the edge of the atmosphere (almost at the speed of sound), due to their enormous, strong wings, and their highly developed breathing organs. This is part of the reason why they are some of the only dragons that can "sing".

"Pretty much. To me, using magic is like moving an arm. I know how to do it, but I wouldn't have any idea how to explain to another how to do it," Caelidorus replied. "I do agree that we will need these sorts of artifacts to have any chance of dealing with Nrilgroth. Going to the public with them, though... well, I don't claim to know what kind of reactions we'd get that way, but wouldn't it be simple for the Seekers to portray us as demons who made these artifacts?"
"Less than an hour if the snow is packed well enough," Forlirn replied, squinting slightly at a patch of whiteness located at what appeared to be the exit of the citadel. "Judging by the looks of it... I'd say that there's a seventy percent chance that such is the case. Which reminds me... did we purchase any eye protection when we gathered supplies? Frilarth and I may be fine, but the rest of you may be susceptible to snow blindness."
((Haelan: I'll address your bio and questions next, though I'm short on time at the moment. Thus, I may be several hours late in doing so.))

The market certainly was busy today, though such was hardly an uncommon occurrence. The various persons going about their daily business certainly did make thieving that much simpler. However, not everybody in the crowd had the appearance of being ordinary residents of the city. Whether it was the knowledge of a dragon living nearby, or the small but noticeable presence created by the mages of the city, or even something else entirely, Glaruindem often attracted unusual travelers. On this particular day, two such persons were within the crowd.
The first of these was a very old-looking man who was busy eying various necklaces hanging from a merchant stall. His features could not be made out, as his back was to Noah, but he was clearly wearing some sort of grey wizard's robe and had long white hair, tied into a topknot of sorts. An unusual weapon hung upside-down from his back. From the bottom up (were the weapon right-side up, that is), it had the appearance of a twisted staff. However, the staff was topped with a large hammerhead which was in turn topped with two long, twisted spikes. A large ruby was set into the center of the hammer head, seeming to be glowing dimly. What the weapon was designed for was difficult to tell, as it would certainly be awkward to use as a warhammer due to its long shaft.
The other such person was a relatively young-looking man, likely in his early thirties. He seemed to have a somewhat fierce expression, having the look of one who had been in many a battle. He had very short, black hair, seeming to be cut in the style of a military haircut, and deep, blue eyes. He was garbed in some sort blue scale armour (likely crafted from dragon hide) and had several blades hanging from his waist, implying that he was a dragon slayer. He seemed to be watching Noah, but it was possible he was simply watching everybody in the marketplace. It would be difficult to tell if he had noticed the act of thievery, but it certainly was a possibility.

((I decided to create a Bio so that I could do something in Elune. Let me know what you think Darlantan. I personally think it can be improved, but i'd like suggestions for how to do so.)
"I personally don't believe that the seekers could just convince everyone that we were demons that somehow or another designed those artifacts. People are smarter then that, so I doubt that they would just assume that we were demons. I think we could convince people of our point of view if I were the one to talk to the public. After all, as far as everyone knows, I am just a dragon slayer. If I said that there was a powerful dragon planning to invade Neuva, I think people would believe it, or at least they would be more willing to believe it. I don't think that having a dragon slayer approach the general public with a group of dragons would really please a population that hates dragonkind with a passion though." Matt said
"I believe you bought goggles when you got our supplies Forlirn. That will suit Rhen and I, but I don't know about Caelidorus though." Matt interrupted.

Name: David Almorga (Known as David of Kelburg due to his noble status)
Age: 35
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: David stands about six feet tall and possesses a large build. His eyes are green. He has dirty blond hair, a thin face and a thin beard. His skin is somewhat pale. He wears an amulet around his neck which contains a perfectly cut sapphire contained within a gold ring. He wears a collarless black shirt along with black trousers. He also wears a blue cloak that has the family crest sown in with gold. When in battle, he wears a black suit of armor with dragon horns placed on the top of the helm (if you want a real life comparison, look at a Teutonic Knight).
Magic: Like all other members of the House of Almorga, David is skilled in water magic. He is able to create or manipulate large amounts of water. This is a common skill that most members of the House of Almorga share. On the side, he has also learned how to create a small ball of fire, viewing knowledge of fire magic as being equally important to the knowledge of water magic.
History: Son of the Duke and Duchess of Kelburg, David was forced to live a confined life inside of the city walls of Kelburg. His parents refused to let him leave the city due to fears that the heir to the throne would meet an untimely death at the hands of an assassin or a feral dragon. Most of his childhood was spent inside of the cities university, where the children of the rich received an education. His parents chose to focus his education on matters of warfare due to the threat of the nearby Tempest

Upon graduating from university at the age of sixteen, David was granted the position of “Captain of the Guard.” Essentially, he had become the second in command of the city-state’s military forces. He participated in several military campaigns led by the “Commander of the Guard.” However he fell deathly ill at the age of 25 and was forced to miss the campaign scheduled for that year. This proved to be a stroke of fate as the campaign proved to be a total disaster. The bulk of the regiments sent on the campaign were decimated and the Commander (as he was more commonly known) lay dead on the field of battle. As a result, David was placed in command of the remains of Kelburg’s military.

David has spent the past ten years strengthening the defences of Kelburg due to fears that another nation might take advantage of the recent setbacks and invade. Since no invasion ever occurred, the city thus became a fortress of sorts, featuring a larger military then the average city state usually bolsters. However, his relative inactivity as “Commander of the Guard” has angered his parents. They would prefer that the large military the city state features be used to expand their territory. Facing immense pressure from his parents, David has begun to form a plan to invade the city of Glaruindem and add it to the cities territory. Though rumors of a powerful dragon protecting the city have made him nervous about the prospect of invading, he still believes that his powerful army is more than capable of capturing the city. Despite planning an invasion, David still finds himself travelling to the city in order to keep up appearances.
