Race: The name of this race does not translate well from the native language to English. It roughly translates to "Feline People."
Appearance: Taika' s race is somewhat of a half-cat race, and they have 3 basic forms; Human, Half-human half-cat, and (wild)cat. However, older ones may have a broad spectrum of forms in between these.
In human form, Taika has short black hair, cut roughly to the base of her neck. Her eyes are a reflective gold color, and her pupils are sharp and narrow, like a cat's. Her skin is a light olive color, with a golden tint. She is about 5'6" in height, is and fairly slim. She bears the appearance of a 20-year-old woman. She wears a large, dark blue-green short-sleeved shirt, and black, plain pants. Her teeth and nails are unusually long, even in human form. She has a strange tattoo on her left hand of a cat's eye. Taika has no idea how it got there.
In half-cat form, Taika looks very similar to her human form, and wears the same clothing. However, she has the ears of a snow leopard, but much more pointed. Her teeth and retractable claws have grown a great deal, and are about 1" long. She also has a very long tail in this form, and her eyes are a bit larger. Her cat eye tattoo still remains, but is a bit fainter.
Taika's leopard form is the most different of them all. She has transformed from humanoid to a large snow leopard (about 7'2" in length). Her pelt is thick, and snow white, covered in black leopard spots. Her teeth and claws are now at least 4" long. Her paws are huge, and the odd tattoo has disappeared entirely.
Magic: Most of her now dead race were not very skilled in magic. Some, in fact, could not use magic at all. However, Taika (her name means "spell" or "rune" ) was always gifted in magic. Besides her ability to transform, she can use a strong
