"As for Reogna...........when I asked him about the void the first time........he knew only about as much as I did about it. It would be wise to take his counsul but it may just be a waste of his time. I think I will just wait this out and see if anything further developes. If something does happen........I will come to your first. Now let us return to the others."
With that Rhen put on his coat and glove and began to walk back to the others.
(( i should end up having Rhen's arm become something like Nightmare's arm from soul calibur............I might end up doing that........but I might not. ))

"You're welcome Rhen. I will try and keep an eye out for anything void related in these ruins we are going to. If I find anything then I'll let you know right away. You'll probably be the only one who understands it anyway. By the way, for all intents and purposes, what you were afraid of earlier has nothing to do with the void, if you know what I mean. Lets pretend that something attacked you last night and it put you on edge since then." Matt replied. He also began walking back towards the group. Eventually he stopped when he was near Caelidorus and waited for at least one of the other dragons to wake up.
((I've never played any of the soul calibur games, so can you tell me what you mean by that?))

"Watchers never really show fear. I was unsure what to do when all this happened so I tried to cover it. Fear is a new experience for me. This is the first time I have had it. I will remeber your words Matt. And once more I thank you." said Rhen.
(( in the soul calibur series there is a character called Nightmare. One of his arms looks more like a mutated claw. Go to Google images and type in Nightmare soul calibur 5 to get the best look at him. ))

Caelidorus had awakened while the two were off talking, though he did not seem to be particularly suspicious as to the reasons they had left the others. He was quietly licking his claws, cleaning them of dirt and bits of dried blood from previous meals.
Forlirn was laying down a somewhat large distance from the rest of the group, though he was still in seeing distance. The old dragon was looking out at the distant see with a blank mask of an expression on his face, fingering at the scar around his neck as he did so.
Frilarth was still asleep, mumbling softly. Frilarn was standing near Frilarth's his, his own head leaning against the dragon's muzzle to listen to the mumbles. The small dragon's tail was swaying, suggesting whatever Frilarth mumbled was entertaining him.
((Sorry, I should have mentioned that my last post was meant as a timeskip.))

Matthew sat down, using Caelidorus's body as support. "Good morning Caelidorus. So, are you ready to descend into hell and slay whatever it is that awaits us there?" He asked in a cheerful tone.
In order to kill time, Matt took out his phone and looked at the photos of the Soulbound that he had taken. Instead of his usual feelings of hatred, he felt a mixture of emotions looking at the photos this time. On one hand, the photographs were damning evidence. If he wanted, he could take them anywhere and see to it that the ancients were driven from Neuva. But at the same time, he began to question his earlier thoughts. The people living with Soul did not seem to be unhappy in the slightest. Nor did Soul seem to be planning to invade the worlds. But at the same time, they were sharing the worlds with multiple massive dragons! Shouldn't the people have a right to know just what is living within a few hours of their homes? He didn't know if he could ever be comfortable with the idea of sharing Neuva with things like Soul, but Matt supposed that he had no choice but to accept the truth. He hesitated for a few moments, then he deleted all of the photographs related to the Soulbound that were on his camera.

Rhen had sat down on a rock and folden his legs. He lay his arm in his lap with a sigh. Rhen had nothing else to do to kill time except look down at his arm from under the hood of his coat.
~How far will this spread? What exactly will it do to me? How will it change me?~ thought Rhen as he revived what he had figured out about his condition in his mind.

"Oh, I'm more than ready," Caelidorus replied with a chuckle. "I've been ready for... How long now? Hmm... Bah, ever since we started heading this way, whenever that was. Personally, what I'm not looking forward to is the last bit of travel we have before we get there..."
Frilarth snorted, quite suddenly opening his eyes and shouting as he awoke.
"Flaming taco death army!"
Frilarn blinked slowly, then fell over on his side, making a grunting, snorting sound that seemed to be laughter.

"Heh, I think we had best take it easy when we get to the ruins. After all, i'm sure Forlirn, Frilarth and Rhen are going to want a few kills of their own. It wouldn't be right for us to deny them that oppertunity. Anyway, why are you not looking forward to the journey? Not looking forward to crossing to the other continent or something? Oh and respond in telepathy, i'm going to head off for a second." Matt said.
Matt stood up and walked over to where Forlirn was laying. "Uhh.... Forlirn. I feel as though I need to apologize for my earlier behavior. I was out of line and treating all of you like dirt. But I think you will be pleased to know that I have, at least to an extent, changed my view of the ancients for the better. I still feel no love for sharing the worlds with them but I am willing to accept it. Nor do I agree with all of their practices. I still think that merging souls like what the soulbound do is morally wrong. Still though, I feel as though I owe you, Soul and Zhaitan an apology." Matt said quietly. "I've removed all pictures of the Soulbound from my phone, and I have no intention of telling anyone in Neuva of their existance. Though I must warn you that I think they will be discovered eventually no matter what I do."

Rhen's gaze followed Matt as he left to talk to Forlirn. Rhen's blue eyes seemed rather dull compared to thier regular sparkling look. As he watched Matt go Rhen lept off the rock he was sitting on and walked over to where Forlirn and Matt were. Rhen stood a fair distance away to give Matt some space to discuss what he needed to. Rhen wanted to get into the skies as soon as possible so they could make it to the ruins. In all honesty he really was exicted about reaching the ruins and finding out what lay inside.

<Well, I suppose not, but that's assuming we make any kills. The ruins could be empty for all we know. And what I'm not looking forward to is all the snow. Sure, I might enjoy the cold, but this borders being ridiculous.>
"It's quite alright, at least where I'm concerned," Forlirn replied, looking off into the distance. He almost seemed to be distracted. "Though I don't see why you've got this idea in your head that the ancients are some sort of massive secret kept away from the masses of Neuva. Few ancients take pains to hide themselves, though they tend to stay away from civilization. That they're not known is simply because they've been forgotten."
