"Uh.........yeah..........I did manage to get alot of practice in. My command of the void has been improving well and I have been carefull with it. I also learned a few things as well and made proper note of them. Not much really went on all night. Just the same as every other night." said Rhen dodging Matt's question somewhat due to the fact that his taint had spread significantly and Rhen did not want to tell anyone just yet.
~What would happen if they were to find out? Would they think different of me? would they leave me to die out here? Or will they still accept me?~ thought Rhen.

"I am feeling fine. Better than I have been since our journey up north began. Since I went to Elune I got to warm myself up a bit that's all." said Rhen. "Nothing is wrong Matt. Trust me. The only thing wrong with me is my missing arm and wings nothing more. That and I am bit excited to arrive at the ruins."

"Alright, there are not many places nearby that offer us much privacy, so how about we just walk a good distance away from the group and talk there." Matt replied.
He crawled out from under Caelidorus's wing and began travelling further away from the rest of the group. He finally stopped when he figured that none of the dragons would be able to hear his conversation with Rhen. After this, he turned to face Rhen and waited for him to speak.

"I am not sure how to explain this Matt. I already knew that I was tainted by the void after the accient. But I never knew how bad it really was. When I told you that I had learned some things last night, I was telling the truth. I learned just how bad the taint is. It has progressed to a physical infection. Let me show you." said Rhen once he arrived and removed his coat despite the cold.
Rhen's arm was fully encased in a black substance that resembled obsidian in appearance. Even his hand was covered and the tips of his fingers looked more like claws rather than fingers.
"I can still use my arm but as you can see.........."

"From what I can tell........it is a physical manifestation of my void taint. From the looks of it I would say it is turning my flesh into an obsidian-like form. It is as hard as obsidian but much more flexible. From what I can tell it is not killing me. The worst that has come from it are headaches. And due to the rate at which this appeared......I would say it is very likely that eventually, with time, it will cover my whole body. What happens then I cannot say for this is the first time I.............or anyone else........ have seen this happen. From now on I am going to postpone my void trainning until I can learn more about this manifestation." said Rhen. "For the sake of the others and not causing a panic.........let us keep this to ourselves. Atleast until we can learn more about it."

If anyone knows what the growth on your arm is then I would wager that it would be him." Matt replied. "I know it sounds foolish to say this, but I would try not to worry about this Rhen.
