I doubt there are many people who live in those mountains in the other world. That gives you the best of both worlds does it not. Perhaps a better way to describe it would be that you accompony the Soulbound, but are not a full member." Matt said.

"To be honest Forlirn, I am surprised that you desire to join a clan so badly. As far as i'm aware, you've spent your whole life alone in that cave either eating, sleeping, or studying. I can't see why you would suddenly change your mind like that. Good on you though. That life must have been lonely." Matt said.

"You forget Matt......Forlirn is not the only one who has spent life alone. I have as well. In a way you could say that we are the same aside from us being from different worlds and of different race. But our story is the same in some ways. We are both outcasts, outsiders, alone. As I told you a while back Matt......I also yearn for family. For they might be the only thing that would keep me from insanity. But for most people of both worlds.......they cannot see past what I am and what I have become." said Rhen.

"That is true Rhen. I had never looked at it that way, but it is true. You and Forlirn have both had a very similar life. I have no doubt that you can relate to him. I'm curious about one thing though Rhen. To be brutally honest, you are essentially immortal. You do realize that you are probably going to outlive whomever you consider family right? I think you should realize that before you search for someone to live with." Matt said.
((I'm sorry if I seem a bit down in my recent posts. I just found out that my dad will probably lose his job very soon due to a surgery.))

"I have put thought into that yes Matt. In fact that is the only reason that I have not been diligent in my search. I know that I will outlive those whom I would call family and that I will stand by as they grow old and die while I remain like this forever. As much as I would like to have people that I could call family, I know it will never be. For I could not stand the pain of having to watch those whom are family pass while I live. But in short.......yes Matt I know. I feel that the only ones that I could come close to somewhat calling family and being able to live with are the ancients. For they are older than me and my people and are still strong. They are the only ones whom would even be close to a family that I would not have to watch pass in front of my eyes." said Rhen.

"Well then why don't you join the Soulbound Rhen? You got along well with Soul if I recall correctly. Either that, or perhaps you could live with someone in Elune and have them use magic to extend their life. Though I doubt a lot of people will want to do that. Immortality is more of a curse then a blessing if you ask me. It sounds nice on paper, but eventually you will want to die.

"The soul bound would be would be good except for one thing........I hate the cold. I am sure I could find a way to get used to it but I do not know. As for using magic to extend someones life.......it is possible but I cannot make one immortal. I can only make them live beyond what they would normally be able to live. Nothing more. It would be like they were immortal but they would not be for they would still age and grow weaker. So although I would be extending their life, I would be making them suffer." said Rhen. "If anything.....I would have to find an ancient that is in a better climate and would accept me."
