"You probably could; you certainly seem pragmatic enough," Caelidorus admitted. "But the race of one's birth isn't one's choice, even though many seem to treat others as if it were... though I wouldn't say all of the clan completely agrees with our beliefs. The scholars in particular seem to have their own ideas about how things should be, though most of us find them strange and nonsensical..."
"Bah, of course a Neuvian would have no use for a dragon's scales," Caelidorus snorted. "In Elune, dragon scales are valuable treasures among humans. Few armors can match those made out of dragon scales, and the fact that most dragons are magical creatures with inborn magical abilities makes such armor ideal for holding permanent enchantments. Of course, it would be unwise to enter Tempest territory with Tempest scales no matter how you obtained them..."
"Bah, this is deep..." Caelidorus muttered, eying the snow now partly covering his paws. "Not to mention cold... Not that I mind cold, but this is too cold..."
"I don't believe there is wood up here," Forlirn replied, unconsciously scratching at a thick, faded scar encircling part pf the upper portion of his neck. "Aside from the few scraggly bushes that can survive these mountains, there is little to no plant life. Only wood I've ever found is frozen driftwood at the shore."
"I know a way to get rid of the snow!" Frilarth exclaimed, trotting over. "Although you'd all need to brace yourselves so you don't get blown away, cause that would certainly be bad and not be something that we want, though it might be slightly fun to get blown away, unless you landed somewhere painful, which most of our surroundings look like."
