Annie was looking out the window from her Hospital bed. She kept her head on a bed because she felt very dizzy, still very weak from using her powers for the first time and in pain. She heard someone asking her a question. She replied in a weak,painful, confused, and scared voice," Yes, I am Annie Wells. No, I wasn’t trying to skip a test. Not really. How many did I people did I hurt? what will happen to me? It was an accident. I am really sorry what happened." She felt panic from what just happened. -Dances-

The blue lady nodded at Annie’s replies, making a little smile at the coarseness of Annie’s voice.

“Hold on a sec, one question at a time, Annie. I think about thirteen people got hurt in total, which isn’t too bad, compared to other... people. I heard there are some Metamorphs who end up, like, killing people, in awkward ways. Scary stuff. What’s scarier is what happens to Metamorphs who can’t control their powers.” the lady said as if telling a warning, then leaned a little closer to Annie, staring into her green eyes with a blank face. “They get kidnapped by the government, usually the FBI. Metamorphs are taken away from their parents, sealed in a biocontainment facility, never seen again.” the blue lady continued.

She then put one hand over the other and placed them over her leg, and tilted her shoulders away from Annie, brows raising for a second, “You’re lucky it was me who found you first, y’know. The FBI will probably be here soon. They are after me, too, because I try to save Metamorphs from them. I can teach you how to control and use your powers, but first, I need to know what you want to do. If you prefer to be taken to a biocontainment facility, OK, I’ll leave it at that. If you would like to come with me, I’ll give you some Medigel, and we can scram.” she said, then slowly made a slight smile, raised a packet of Medigel, and cocked her head. “What do you say?”

Annie shaking with fear and very confused what to do. She was felt so tired from using her new power for the first time, dizzy and in pain that she can’t think straight. She said,”Thank goodness I only hurt a few people. How long was I here? Honestly, I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to hurt anyone else. I am scared.” -Dances-

“Oh, don’t be scared, you won’t hurt anyone else, you’ve only been here for, like, an hour. ” the blue lady said, putting the Medigel on her lap, then crossing her arms and letting her face go loose, slightly lowering her gaze and raising her brows. “If you don’t want to hurt anyone, you should come with me, I will protect you. Unless you want to live in a prison for the rest of your life. If you want to be safe, free, and not hurt anyone, you have to come with me. I also have Hallex, a single pill will take away your pain and confusion, it helps me after I survive an FBI attack.” she continued, then made a little sigh.

“ Hey, London. You listening? ” Lilly freeman began, waving a supple hand infront of London’s vacant gaze.

“ Hmm…? ” London moaned, reaching for the alarm. “ Five more minutes… ”

“ You said that, like, five minutes ago! ”

“ Mmm, is it lunch time already…? Gotta head to the cafeteria and… ” London nodded off.

“ Yup, totally out of it. ” Lucas Garrett added.

“ C’mon Girl! You were, like, in the art department when it all went down, right? You gotta spill that goss! ” Lilly complained.

“ Give it up, Lilly ” Lucas smiled, patting his pocket. It gave the unmistakable rattle of a wrapped sweet, causing London’s eyes to fling open.

“ See? There’s a trick to it. ” Lucas said smugly, causing Lilly to pout as he placed a sweet in London’s outstretched hand. “ What, you want one too? I got plenty ”

“ What’s up? ” London asked, unwrapping the sweet.

“ You’re up. Finallllly! ” Lilly crossed her arms in mock annoyance. “ Thought the smoke got to your brain, or something! ”

The Trio sat in the courtyard in an awkward silence for a short while, watching as the lecturers and students huddle frantically under what shade they could find as the firefighting droids went about their work. Lots of idle gossip was spread, one in particular peaking London’s attention.

“ Hey, Oktunis, was that a mafia attack or what? ” a nearby young Irishman student asked a Turian teenager, which London overheard. The Turian student chuckled with a shrug.

“ No! C’mon, Barry, that’s dumb. ” the Turian student replied.

“ Really? You’re the one who’s a kid of the freakin’ mob! You’re here, and this happened, hm? ” the Irish student continued, and the Turian shook his head and waved an arm at the Irishman.

“Oh you and your conspiracy theories. Seriously, Barry, if my dad wanted to attack this school, it’d be blown in half by now.” Oktunis, the Turian student, assured, and he and those around him chuckled.


“ They must have strong lungs then. ” London said with a dash of surprise, though their comment lost in the chuckles.

“Really? That’s what you took from that…? ” Lilly sighed. “ Like, whatever are we going to do with you? ”

“ Well, I hang with the go-home club right about now, don’t ‘cha think? ” Lucas said, pointing back towards the teachers. “ Not like they’re gonna miss us. ”

“ Hmm, I guess. You coming, London? ” Lilly asked.

“ Sure, I guess. Where are we going? ” London replied distantly.

“ You can’t be serious. Were you even paying attention…? ” Lilly growled dangerously. “ I swear to god, if I have to wake you up again, I’m going to, like, crack down one of those firefighting droids and give you a good dose of wake up juice. ”

Lucas, however, traced London’s gaze across the courtyard to an Asari in a black jumpsuit. “ Oh ” he said stupidly, “ Who do you think she is? Think she’s a student? Hey, look, if you know her, you gotta hook me up, man. I’m begging ya. ”

“ Never seen her before, I think. ” London admitted.

“ Then… well… look, Lilly. I know we haven’t always seen eye to eye, but would you be able to chat me up? That’s what girl’s do, right? ” Lucas begged.

“ Dude, she’s Asari. You know she swing’s both ways, right? ” Lilly winked cutely.

“ On second thought… you’re dangerous .” Lucas growled. Pausing for a moment, Lucus scratched his chin and perked right back up, as he always did when he had another whimsical idea.

Lilly supressed a giggle. “ Well, if you’re not fast, she’ll get away… lover boy. ”

“ I-uh. Yeah. Let’s… why don’t we follow her for a bit? ” Lucas said, a little flustered.

“ Eww. Creepy. ” Lilly said, her face scrunched. “ Keep talking like that and it really will be your last chance .”

“ It’s his last chance. I think we should support his love, “ London shrugged.

“ Not you too… ” Lilly face palmed. “ Okay, if we’re doing this, we’re doing this my way – nothing weird, understand? ”

“ You’re the best! I knew I could count on you two! ” Lucas attempted a wide hug, which was fought off by Lilly.

“ C’mon, she’s getting away. ” Lilly said, pushing herself up.

The blue lady was getting bored. She looked away, then at the window, face rather blank but obviously uninterested. Without saying anything, she put one pill of Hallex on Annie’s blanket, where Annie’s sternum was, then stroked her belly once.

“Your choice.” was all the blue lady said.

Wrapped sweets, good to remember. Lilly and Lucas commented about this and that, Lucas getting the hots for an Asari, and Lilly being rather unsupportive in that. London was OK with it, Lilly was rendered powerless with her opinion, and the group of kids seemed to want to help Lucas in his love issues. So, off they went, chasing after the Asari. She had quite a rounded pair of hips and buttocks, a slim waist, and long legs, and her hipsway was quite appealing.

But then, suddenly, from nowhere...

Observing that there were firetrucks, well, the kids needed something to cool down after the fire, and what better way to do so than to sell them ice cream?

“ICE CREAM!?” a Krogan football student nearly shouted, and then, suddenly, hordes of students swarmed the vehicle. Not only did they want ice cream, but some wanted some so badly, their vision literally made them see in gradually shifting colors. They then proceeded to pushing the ice cream truck to and fro, demanding ice cream. That must have been some really good ice cream.

The music and commotion even made Lilly, Lucas and London turn around while they walked, seeing the ice cream truck. What luck. Now that half the school was between them and the ice cream truck, chances are, they’d never be able to get any ice cream.

“ICE CREAM!” the Krogan exclaimed, climbing atop the ice cream truck and trying to smash through it with his head. While the thumping sounded repeatedly along with the ice cream truck music, Lucas, London and Lilly turned around to be forwards again, and then they saw:
