X7A finally spoke up, having kept silent throughout the exchange previously. At this point, though, it was time to make sure this child did not interfere with their operations. She had no self-control, no means of assisting, and would do nothing but endanger everything important. It was simple, really: either the child listened and did what she needed to, or she would be killed when X7A decided that she was a danger to the mission. There was nothing special about the child, and nothing that indicated she was not expendable, and in the current situation the choice to make such an action was entirely within X7A's right to make. " X7A told Annie, her tone clearly saying that this discussion was finished.

Perhaps the child did not realize it, but everything that she had said gave credibility to the side of the argument that X7A was making. A known quantity was never an acceptable thing in any situation. The child had self-professed that her abilities were not under her control, and if she was truly an enemy of the government - which was very unlikely, and it was more likely that someone had told her something false that she now believed - then it would be the correct choice to simply terminate her here. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

The kid was clearly getting under the sexbot’s skin as they too begun to bicker, ignoring Ryder’s warning entirely. He was partially disappointed by the blue bitch’s benign reaction, but then, what today had gone his way? This was a massive waste of his time…

It was hard to tune out the wailings of the kid, who was insistent that she could “help”. Judging by her proportions, he judged that she could block a M8-avenger and was light enough to be wielded as a shield. The problem was the opinions of the baser life forms; 2000 years of coddling had left them unable to harm anyone underage. Bah, it wasn’t like it did him any harm.

The thought looped back to the current situation; would they educate or dump the child? Well, Ryder thought, I do consider myself a teacher…

Clutching his fist, a burst of blue energy surrounded his fist as he wheeled around and backhanded Annie, aiming the strike so he would pin her by the neck against the cabin wall. The attack would come completely out of the blue, and he did not hold back.

“ We aren’t hero’s, kid. ” Ryder would spit in Annie’s face. His voice was low and dangerous. “ We don't take sidekicks, ]and we don’t have the patience of saints. In fact, I would say we’re very bad people. Do you get that? Now, scamper off now… ”


London:

“ Human City Zoo? Y-you mean, a place where humans live with lions and zebra’s? ” London exclaimed, her face surprisingly perky. After all, how could they not be…? Such a place sounded so… EXCITING!

After the slight bickering accompanied with the desire to help, Ryder got mad at Annie. Ironically, the Ardat-Yakshi had a better sense of humour than the operative, and he pinned the minimally-suitable human shield against the wall. Ryder was, undoubtedly, not the best babysitter around. His Biotics lit up, glowing around his body. He tells Annie to scamper off, and then...

“Yeah, I think so, something like that.” Tatri replied to London. “There was a white lion walking around with people, after all.”

“It’s a gambling city.” Karrok grumbled.

Unless London had anything else to add, or wanted to talk to someone specific, chances are this scene was finished.
