This new dream fragment, part of my forgotten past, consumes my thoughts. For the past several nights, this memory has remained the same. Tonight, there was more.
I am in a room. It appears I am in someone's home. There is a clay fireplace along one wall. I see a table and some chairs nearby. There is a large man in the room as well. He is angry and is charging straight towards me. He yells, "YOU WILL DO AS YOU ARE TOLD!". He has what appears to be an iron dagger in one of his huge hands. I reach towards the table. There is a bronze longsword and a cloth rag on the table, as though someone had been cleaning the blade. I grasp the longsword and then turn to face the man. That is when I woke up.
As I noted previously, this house feels familiar to me. It feels like I should know this place, but I cannot remember. Who is this man? Why is he so mad, and why does he attack me?
I do not know, Diary. I do know one thing for certain. Whoever this man is, I hate him.

Kat

Halloween festivities returned to Gielinor this week.
On the first day, I spoke with Death (our host again this year) and looked through his shop. I picked up another cosmetic weapon for free: Death's Silver Scythe.
On the grounds of Draynor Manor, I helped some fragmented souls, smashed some ravenous skeletons, shot cannons at sea monsters, and cooked up some plague soup.
Taking part in these activities got me 72 Fishing.
All I did on Day Two was help a few more souls. I also completed a Daily Fletching Challenge by carving and stringing six yew shieldbows, which I stashed in the temporary bank chest.

Today the Academy Of Heroes Treasure Hunter promo is wrapping up.
It took Natalia six attacks, but she finally managed to slay that crassian scout. The strange part about this battle is that, shortly after the fight began, the level 4 crassian scout had become a level 6 opponent! There was something seriously shady about that sudden transformation! It didn't even wound Natalia - so exactly how did this creature instantly gain two combat levels? Did it use XP lamps?
For winning her second fight, Natalia advanced to level 5. I was awarded a large prismatic star, a life refresh, 400 springs, and a deathtouched dart.
Her next opponent is a level 8 super cow. Unfortunately for Natalia, I do not buy TH keys, so there is no way she will be able to finish off this cow, even if it doesn't start rubbing XP lamps.
As is typical, most of the daily prizes were small stars and other junk worth only a small amount of oddments when converted. This promo worked better last time.
I really despise pay-to-win shit. Rewards should be earned, not bought in an MTX store.

Kat

On Day Three, I gathered more cabbages, onions, and potatoes to add to the large cauldron cooking plague soup on the Draynor Manor grounds.
Early in the morning on Day Four, I added another 175 of each ingredient to the cauldron before I completed my Daily Challenges in Thieving, Cooking, and Prayer.
I teleported to Lumbridge, where I pickpocketed a man six out of eight times as he wandered through Lumbridge Market. Then I killed him and buried his bones. A guard attacked me for stealing a chocolate slice from a bakery stall in order to heal from the man's two attacks on me, and his bones went into the ground as well. Next, I took 10 raw crayfish from the bank chest and brought them to the nearby yews. I chopped and burned a yew log, then cooked the crayfish over the fire. I banked the crayfish and took one set of bones from my bank to bury. Then I decided to teleport to Varrock, where I slew seven dark wizards and buried their bones. The wizards dropped some coins, a few chaos and cosmic runes, plus a fire talisman. I banked the runes and sold the talisman on the Grand Exchange.
I redeemed these Daily Challenges to reach 72 Cooking.

More of this new dream, which I am certain is part of my forgotten past, has revealed itself to me tonight.
I am in a room. It appears I am in someone's home. There is a clay fireplace along one wall. I see a table and some chairs nearby. I can hear the sound of the ocean coming from outside the house. There is a large man in the room as well. He has just stormed in from the next room. He is angry and is charging straight towards me. He yells, "YOU ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE! YOU WILL DO AS YOU ARE TOLD!". He has what appears to be an iron dagger in one of his huge hands. I reach towards the table. There is a bronze longsword and a cloth rag on the table, as though someone had been cleaning the blade. I grasp the longsword and then turn to face the man. He waves the dagger menacingly at me. Suddenly, he moves forward and stabs me in my left arm. I scream at the man and I hear cries coming from behind me. The man tries to advance, but I plunge the longsword into his side. He howls in pain and shouts, "YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT, YOU LITTLE BITCH!" He shoves me aside. I hit the wall hard and fall to the floor. I hear more crying and shrieking. Now the man is laughing. I focus my eyes. I see him looking towards the far end of the room, where the cries are coming from. Now he has something in his left hand...something blue. It appears to be a unicorn. A small blue stuffed unicorn. My blood boils. I am furious! I no longer have the longsword. There is something next to me. I stand up and grab the item with both hands. Then I woke up.
The man and I were not alone. Someone else was in the room with us. This was someone I was protecting, it seems. A child. The cries were those of a child.
What happened to this child? What happened to the man?
The sounds I heard at the start of the dream reminded me of the time I visited Ashdale. While I was there, I had the distinct feeling I had been there before. I believe Ashdale is the key.

Tonight, an important detail came to light after I had the new dream yet again.
The longsword clatters across the room, beyond my reach. There is a fancy wooden cane leaning against the wall near me. I stand up and grab the cane with both hands. I glance over towards the cries, and I see her. A small girl with short strawberry blonde hair. The man taunts her. I scream, "LEAVE HER ALONE!" and swing the cane. Then I woke up.
As soon as I awoke, a name came to my mind. Cosette. The girl is named Cosette.
Cosette. My little sister. What became of her?
I must return to Ashdale. I have to know.

Monday was a good day. A little quiet, but I suppose we can all use a day like that from time to time.

I've been putting out fire with gasoline!
After I completed my Daily Challenges, I spent most of the day yesterday exploring the island of Ashdale. Fortunately, I activated the lodestone there during my previous journey to Ashdale, so it was a simple matter to teleport to the island.
The village seemed to be very peaceful. The streets were empty. I began looking around along the western edge of the island and worked my way around Ashdale in a clockwise manner. I saw old Ned at a campfire to the north. I passed by the mining and smithing area to the east.
As I headed south towards the docks, I still had found nothing to assist in my investigation. Most of the buildings I saw did not stand out to me at all. A few seemed vaguely familiar, but perhaps I was just recalling having seen them on my prior trip to Ashdale. Aside from Ned, I saw nobody I recognized. I was about to teleport back to Lumbridge, when all of a sudden I saw something shimmer close to the edge of the water. I only caught a glimpse of it, but it appeared to be a ghostly figure. I quickly moved towards the figure, but it vanished. Perhaps it was never there. I suppose it could have been moonlight reflected by the water.
It could have also been something else.
There was a villager on the docks close by. He appeared to not see anything unusual.
I finally decided to teleport to Lumbridge, in order to work on the new day's Daily Challenges. I will return to Ashdale again soon, Diary. I will discover the truth.
Depend on it.

Early this morning, after I returned from my expedition to Ashdale, I completed Daily Challenges in Smithing, Fletching, and Woodcutting.
I smithed 150 rune arrowheads at the Lumbridge anvil. Next, I took 50 more rune arrowheads and 200 headless arrows from the Lumbridge Market bank chest, then I made 200 rune arrows. I banked these arrows and headed west to the yew trees. I chopped a total of 18 yew logs. Upon chopping the 17th log, I reached 76 Woodcutting.
