Today's Advent Calendar reward was not wrapping paper, another pointless overhead emote, or another worthless purple present, for once. I received a Snow Imp Amulet. This item can transmog the wearer into one of four different forms of snow imp - new and retro snow imp, or new and retro santa imp. It is nothing of any combat value, but the amulet amuses me.
This afternoon, I won four medium and four small prismatic lamps from the Santa's Grotto Treasure Hunter promo.
I used medium lamp #1 to reach 88 Attack.
I used medium lamp #2 to reach 88 Constitution.
I used medium lamp #3 to reach 88 Defence and Combat Level 112.
I used medium lamp #4 to reach 88 Strength.
I then rubbed the four small lamps to gain additional XP in these four combat skills.
Later on, I killed 30 poison spiders in Edgeville Dungeon to complete an extended Daily Combat Challenge. They did not enjoy my newly-increased combat skills as much as me.
I also did some ice fishing and snowball crafting at the Christmas Village. I wondered what would happen if I tried to cook the frozen fish, so I headed north to the bank chest with a frozen bass, 6 frozen salmon, and 8 frozen trout. Then I built an oak log fire. However, the frozen fish cannot be cooked. So I returned to the icy fishing spot and deposited the frozen fish into a barrel.

This afternoon, I excavated a full inventory of Third-Age iron. I already had five pieces of this resource in my bank. I sold all 33 pieces of this ancient iron on the Grand Exchange.for 115,200gp. After taxes, I received a little over 112,000gp.
Then I teleported to the Christmas Village, where I donated 100,000gp to Not-So-Secret Santa. In return, he gave me a medium prismatic lamp.
I used this lamp to reach 88 Prayer.

Tonight, I completed the seasonal quest It's Snow Bother.
I teleported to the Christmas Village and spoke with Santa Claus. He asked me to help the citizens of Falador, Lumbridge, and Varrock to discover their Christmas Spirit again. I agreed to help, and Santa introduced me to a snow imp named Marcus Claus, who would be my companion during this quest. Santa departed, while Marcus and I chatted with three other snow imps who served as city representatives. I made a ton of decorations before we set out for our first destination: Varrock.
We located Santa's sleigh just outside the courtyard in front of Varrock Castle. The decorations were stolen by snow imps. We located the little blue thieves hiding in piles of snow around the city, recovered the decorations, and made Varrock look festive.
Marcus and I found Santa's empty sleigh in Lumbridge southeast of the lodestone. Then we found the sleigh just inside the north entrance to Falador. The same situation we faced in Varrock presented itself in Lumbridge and Falador. After all three cities were nicely decorated, we returned to the snow imp representatives.
Upon our return, we learned Santa had left us one more task to perform. We had to take a sack of presents and deliver five presents to various people. First, we went to Draynor, where we gave an imphide wand to Wendy and socks to the Wise Old Man. Next, we went to Lumbridge. We gifted Hans with coal and Bob with an axe handle. Finally, we teleported to Varrock and presented Reldo with a children's story book.
With all our work done, Marcus and I returned to the Christmas Village. Santa told us we were successful in reminding the people of their love for Christmas.

This afternoon, I completed extended Daily Challenges in Fletching, Mining, and Prayer.
I created 400 headless arrows from 20 oak logs and 400 feathers. Next, I mined 20 gold ores north of Al Kharid. Then I cremated 20 sets of big bones within a yew log fire west of Lumbridge Market.
I redeemed these challenges to reach 87 Fletching and 88 Mining.
I now have increased stamina when mining.
Later on, I earned 600 Christmas Spirit from making four festive decorations and depositing them at the Christmas Village workbench. I then spent 4,500 Christmas Spirit to purchase the following cosmetic weapon overrides from Holly:
Ice Bow
Ice Staff
Ice Sword and Ice Off-Hand Sword
I donated another 100,000gp to Not-So-Secret Santa. I unlocked the 'Secret Santa' title.
I was also awarded a medium prismatic lamp, which I used to gain Fishing XP.

This morning, I exchanged 77,400 pieces of Christmas wrapping paper with Noel at the Christmas Village. He gave me 172 white presents, 190 blue presents, and 25 purple presents.
With much disgust, I destroyed the worthless purple presents in front of the imp. Then I made four festive decorations and deposited them before I teleported back to Lumbridge.
At the Lumbridge Market bank chest, I opened 100 blue presents. I received a Winter Hat and Scarf, a pair of overhead emotes (purple and red partyhat), and two title scrolls - 'Frosty' and 'Naughty'. I also received coins, oddments, coal, gold rings, medium XP lamps and BXP stars, some member trash, and a lot of festive food.

This afternoon, I earned 300 Christmas Spirit from making two festive decorations and depositing them at the Christmas Village workbench. I then spent 5,000 Christmas Spirit to purchase a Ring of Snow and a Snow Globe from Holly's Spirit Shop.
I also exchanged 9,000 pieces of Christmas wrapping paper with Noel at the Christmas Village. He gave me 19 white presents, 25 blue presents, and a purple present.
I dropped the pointless purple present and opened 91 blue presents. I found a Green Santa Hat overhead emote, along with the usual rewards. These included enough medium XP lamps to reach level 89 in Attack, Constitution, Defence, and Strength. This raised my combat level to 113.

Last night, I completed extended Daily Challenges in Cooking and Prayer. I ignored a Dungeoneering challenge.
I used a yew log fire to cook 20 crayfish and to cremate 20 sets of bones.
I redeemed these challenges to reach 84 Cooking.
I also spent my last 1,500 Christmas Spirit to purchase a Tinsel Scarf.
I have opened all of my blue presents, and all but 50 of my white presents. Inside one of the white presents, I found an overhead emote (yellow partyhat). I now own five of the six overhead emotes free players can receive from opening presents. I have all the partyhat emotes (green, purple, red, and yellow) plus the red Santa hat. The only one I am missing is the green Santa hat overhead emote. I have 50 more chances to find it.
The Christmas Village seasonal event has now ended.

I had a chat this afternoon with Party Pete in the Falador Party Room. He gave me a slice of anniversary cake that has no end - it can be consumed repeatedly.
I also opened my last 50 remaining white presents given to me by Noel. When I was down to the final five, and apparently still had not found the Green Santa hat overhead emote, I suspected something was amiss. A quick check of the Lumbridge Market bank chest revealed I already had the GSH overhead emote token! I must have found it last night, and simply threw it into my bank with a lot of other rewards without noticing I had obtained this token. With the set complete, I went ahead and redeemed all six tokens to unlock these overhead emotes.
Later this afternoon, I participated in a balloon drop at the Al Kharid lodestone. I received the following rewards from popping balloons:

Tonight, I completed Daily Challenges in Fishing, Runecrafting, and Combat.
I caught 14 crayfish behind the Lumbridge church. Next, I crafted 68 body runes from 27 rune essence at the Body Altar west of Edgeville. Then I killed 15 poison spiders in Edgeville Dungeon.
I redeemed these challenges to reach 83 Fishing.

Late tonight, I completed Daily Challenges in Dungeoneering, Firemaking, and Combat.
I used a challenge token to skip the Dungeoneering task. Next, I burned 10 protean logs in a bonfire. Then I killed 15 poison spiders in Edgeville Dungeon.
I redeemed these challenges to reach 86 Dungeoneering.
I already had a Challenge XP lamp in my backpack from killing another 15 poison spiders previously. I rubbed these lamps to reach level 83 in Magic and in Ranged.
