Well - good luck ever getting to 100% on the Shield. I've been sending out between 47 to 76% with my all level 10 crew. Also, I've failed a few voyages - cost me 566 Azure. Which, considering my average voyage is 120 to 160, cost me 4-5 voyages. Btw, each voyage is between 13-18 hours. So I lost a day and a voyage for repairs.

Also, I discovered 27.5k captains and 35k captains. I purchased one 35k captain in combat and she smokes my level 10 at level 0. One bad trait ( -40 sea ), but her base sea stat is still higher, even with the bad trait :)

I did the Exile voyage at 50% with boosts.

Max single stats:
Moral: 21,923
Combat: 22,124
Sea: 21,539

Essentially, each crew is 3k +0/10/20/30. So double voyages will get 6k each stat + captain, Triple will get about 4.5k each stat.

My ships need terracotta upgrades, but at this point, I'm more interested in Trade Goods for ports armour.

I'm at 3.7k Azure. Crew is 850 each. Exiles ( new 1st mates? ) are 1.5k each. I have a ports reward for 3k Azure banked. So I'm about a week away from my goal of 8k Azure. My thinking is, I'm going to need to buy a few crew twice because of bad stats.

For starting:

North west is the Black Marketeer. He's in the building west of the bar.
Daily buy all from him, unless it's chimes.

Then in the South west, outside the very south west building on the ledge is the trader.

You need 240 for each of Lacquer, Chi, and Plate to make full ports armour - not weapons My Threads:

oo - nice, I need to update my thread

So I finally have all lvl 10 Shield and all ship upgrades unlocked. Also, all story lines are checked off. Here are my stats:

M, lvl 8 capt, 30,768
C, lvl 9 capt, 30,633
S, lvl 9 capt, 30,628

"best" MCS - lvl 8 capt, 12,433 / 12,560 / 13,193. By best, I mean most balanced. Pretty much, I can favor any one stat to 13k, and the other two to 12k, depending on crew, ship, and captain settings.

The Shield lvl 10 crew have between 3.9k-4.2k stats. Some have +0 to +60 in their main trait, and sometimes bonuses in others.

Now I'm focused on updating my port.

Still with 3 ships

There are two special characters:
Golem = M+C, and the
Wisp = C+S.
There is no special M+S crew. My Threads:

It has been a while since I've completed Ports. I've looked over all I have written, and it all seems foreign to me. The view point from the start is vastly different once you've completed your voyages, scrolls, armour, etc.. My only real comment is:

Get the Terracotta Merchants , from the previous location, when you get to the Shield, after you buy your shield crew.

Somewhere I've switched my goals in trying to get to 200k in all currency, and the merchants help a lot; yes this means giving up other crew. Let me be clear, first get at least 6 of each C/M/S crew, 2 First Mates, before thinking of the Merchant.

I still have 3 ships. Typically I send out 1-2 special voyages ( 13 hours ), and then use my free ship(s) to send bamboo runs. I'm also looking into the Reef Walker for the speed, but it seems like no matter who or what I put on a ship, Arc runs are at worst 24 minutes, and the best at 12 minutes.

I need to find Kags and ask about port upgrades. I was trying to buy all upgrades at once at one point, but I think some of the upgrades D o N ot S tack.

I really wish the 250 trade good limit increased up to 750 or 1k each. Especially if you've completed everything in the Arc and Ports. My Threads:
