I'm ONLY doing 2-4 voyages a day, as these are 10+ hours each.
I'm doing a lot more single trait voyages, as my crew just isn't good enough to get to double or triple trait voyages. By far, I'm rarely doing my 100% voyages, typically 95%, rare occasions 90%. I can see boosts, from the mini-games, being useful at this point.
As I'm only doing 2-4 voyages daily, I'm using my voyage rerolls often. Non-Bowl region voyages are extremely rare.
Prior to this point, keeping 3 Arc region crew seemed to ensure lower level voyages were available. However, given the harshness of this region, keeping lower level crew does not appear to be an option.
Up to this point, I have basically kept 3, 2,500, captains ( M/C/S ), but I'm getting new voyages with better traits so I've added two new captains. We'll see how they do.
A ton of crew are coming up with negative traits.
I have finally purchased 3 ea of Bowl M/C/S and 2 Jude of Dice. The total should be 2,600, but the actual cost is closer 4,200. At 150 per trip, instead of 18 trips to buy all my crew, it's more than 28 ~ or an extra week.
Also, I've changed the way I am calculating my max scores and per trait ( next post ). I've switched to averaging the top 7 crew and multiplying by 5, for the trait. This better reflects that a ship will be at sea.
So having my crew, I'm going back to the Hook region for enough slate to get 3 ships. I'm still trying to stick with the idea of keeping the same crew for as long as possible. However, getting 3 ships might mean one is less active.
