Early this morning, I had a bit of luck while harvesting some pale wisps. After several recent trips to the colony between Lumbridge and Draynor resulted in gathering no chronicle fragments at all, today I found two of them fairly quickly. The first fragment appeared just after I began harvesting the second pale wisp. The second fragment came along about 20 minutes later. This brings my current total of chronicle fragments up to 20. I am now 1/5 of the way to my goal of getting 100 fragments, so that I can use them to claim the "Of Guthix" title.
20 down, 80 to go...

Today has been a great day for gains! I got three skill levels, which achieved one of my goals for 2020, and made progress towards another goal!
This afternoon, I started off by using 300 of the 900 protean hides I had in the bank, along with a cinder core to burn through the 29,000 or so BXP I had in Crafting to get close to the next level. I was only 6,956 XP away. So I banked my other 9 cinder cores I had taken from the total of 30 I started off with, since I'd used up all the BXP in Crafting, and I teleported to Al Kharid. I ran north to the mine, where I killed some scorps and mined the precious gem rocks in the resource dungeon. After cutting the gems, I returned to the bank, then went back to the precious gem rocks a second time. After banking again, this time when I got back to the mine I mined an uncommon gem rock instead. After banking, I returned to the desert mine for a fourth time, and mined that uncommon gem rock way in the back just to the left a second time. On this trip, I gathered 16 sapphires, 10 emeralds, and 2 rubies. I began cutting the sapphires first. After cutting the fourth gem, I reached Crafting level 80!
This was all I had left to do in order to reach one of my short-term goals for this year, which was to get all my F2P skills to level 80 or better before the release of Archaeology. Today the next-to-last Archaeology Journal was posted, so that was good timing all around! Crafting is now tied with Dungeoneering and Prayer as my three lowest skills. Getting 80 Crafting also improved my RuneScore to 2130.
Next, I went to the Runespan, where I burned up the roughly 17,000 BXP I'd had in Runecrafting since the very end of the last 1.2XP Weekend, without using cinder cores. I added 300 points to my total, and I reached Runecrafting level 86!
I returned to do a little fishing in Lumbridge before logging out for a bit...but the biggest gain of the day was still to come! See the next post...

So after taking a break, I logged back into RS on Friday evening. I completed and redeemed a Fletching challenge, claimed my daily hamper of food from the Lumbridge Cook, then took 15 cinder cores with me to Falador, where I entered the Mining Guild.
In the Guild, I started by mining runite. As usual, I had 20 free inventory spaces, which gives me six inventories before filling the ore box with one ore before moving on to another. Shortly after I began working on the third inventory, my second cinder core went off, giving me a 4% XP burn boost. Then I got Mining level 96!
After I mined 120 runite ore, I mined 120 luminite, 120 coal, and 140 iron ore before heading to the furnace to deposit all the ores into my metal bank. After I had mined only 4 iron ore, I had used up all my Mining BXP, which was a little over 109,000.
Getting 99 Mining is one of the longer-term goals I had posted to this thread last month. Now I am only three levels away from reaching that goal.
It was a good first day of 1.2XP Weekend: Extended. However, I have currently used up all my bonus XP in every skill except for Smithing. I have 99 Smithing, and over 1.8 million BXP in that skill. So either I'll have to get more BXP, or go for 100 Smithing.
I wonder what I will do. I can't wait to find out!

Well, I haven't been able to play as much as I would've liked to over the past week. However, today I managed to reach some milestones, in spite of a ridiculous amount of lag.
This afternoon, using protean logs, I got to Fletching level 82!
My Total Level is 1519.
I did some additional fletching afterwards. When I finished, I had just over 2.5 million XP in Fletching. The other milestones I passed today are:
- 2,000,000 XP in Crafting
- 10,000,000 XP in Mining
- 14,000,000 XP in Smithing
- 80,000,000 XP in total XP
I did get more BXP recently, which I put on Mining. I used it all up today, plus some Smithing BXP. That is now down to a little over 1,555,000. I'm currently 261,012 XP away from level 100 Smithing!

Early this morning, I used a medium prismatic lamp I had just won from the Diamond Dozen TH promotion to gain 9,044 XP in Ranged. As I was just under 9,000 XP from the next level, this lamp got me to Ranged level 84!
I did not gain a Combat Level. My Total Level is 1521.

It was nice spending some time the other day with you and the lovely and gracious Anja.
As usual, Hengel was just a jerk. He attacked me three separate times, just for picking his pocket! That did not go well for him at all. I ended up getting 30 coins plus a chargebow off him. Nobody wanted to buy it off the G.E. so I sold it to the general store in Varrock for 20 GP.
My first stop after leaving Anja's house was Draynor. I ran to the south entrance to Draynor, where I buried three sets of Hengel bones. Then I continued on to the wisp colony near Lumbridge, where I completed a Divination daily challenge, before teleporting to Varrock.
Cheers Jokku!

After the first full day of Yak Track 2, I am currently on task #7, to smith 50 items. As I did during the first Yak Track, I'll be making 50 sets of rune arrowheads.
I'm not concerned about finishing many of these tedious tasks before Archaeology is released next Monday, since reportedly 25 Archaeology-based tasks are set to be added to the Yak Track next week. I reckon these tasks have to be better than grinding away Cooking, Fishing, Firemaking, Woodcutting, or the dreaded Dungeoneering!
Also, I recently finally earned back the 8 million coins I had spent buying baby dragon bones to complete a Prayer task during the first Yak Track - and I'd prefer not to have to do that again, thank you.
"Oh, but Aslon there's a simple way to auto-complete the tasks you don't want to do. All you have to do is buy some task skips..." Stop. Just stop with that. I'm not paying extra money to skip game content designed to annoy players into paying extra to avoid. If the content becomes too obnoxious, I'll just skip it for free by not playing it.
I completed the original Yak Track and only used the two free task skips everyone started with. We'll see how this second one works out.
