This evening, I completed extended Daily Challenges in Woodcutting, Firemaking, and Mining.
I chopped 20 yew logs west of Lumbridge Market and burned them in a bonfire. Then I mined two full inventories of gold ores north of Al Kharid.
I gained 53,232 XP in all three skills from redeeming these challenges. This got me virtual Mining level 107!
This is my 19th virtual skill level. I have a virtual Firemaking level, a virtual Woodcutting level, 8 virtual Mining levels, and 9 virtual Smithing levels.
My Total Level is 1772 (Virtual Level 1791).
My list of skill levels on page 116 has been updated.

This evening, I spent my remaining 2,500 Christmas Spirit to purchase the last item from Holly's Spirit Shop that I didn't already own - the Sparkles pet. This is my 72nd pet.

This evening, I completed extended Daily Challenges in Smithing, Woodcutting, and Mining.
I smithed 300 rune arrowheads at the Lumbridge anvil. Next, I chopped 20 yew logs west of Lumbridge Market. Then I mined two full inventories of gold ores north of Al Kharid.
I gained 53,232 XP in all three skills from redeeming these challenges. This got me virtual Smithing level 109!
This is my 20th virtual skill level. I have a virtual Firemaking level, a virtual Woodcutting level, 8 virtual Mining levels, and 10 virtual Smithing levels.
My Total Level is 1772 (Virtual Level 1792).

Tonight, I excavated 36 pieces of Third Age iron, then sold 32 of these pieces on the Grand Exchange for 110,544gp (after taxes).
Then I teleported to the Christmas Village, where I donated 100,000gp to Not-So-Secret Santa. In return, he gave me a medium prismatic lamp. I rubbed this lamp to gain 19,079 Dungeoneering XP.
I only needed 17,204 XP to get to the next level, so I reached Dungeoneering level 103!
My Total Level is 1773 (Virtual Level 1793).
I am now 17 Dungeoneering levels from being a maxed free player.
My list of skill levels on page 116 has been updated.
All of my F2P skills are at level 99 or higher.

This evening, I won a small prismatic lamp by using my free daily key to open a chest on the Genie's Wishes Treasure Hunter promo. I rubbed this lamp to gain 9,758 Dungeoneering XP.
I only needed 3,975 XP to get to the next level, so I reached Dungeoneering level 104!
Karima appeared and awarded me a large phoenix lamp. I used this lamp, as well as the large smouldering lamp it transformed into, to gain more Dungeoneering XP.
My Total Level is 1774 (Virtual Level 1794).
I am now 16 Dungeoneering levels from being a maxed free player.

Redeeming these challenges did not get me any new skill levels. However, it did put me over 280,000,000 in Total XP.

You have had this thread almost 10 years
Do you think decision close forums will be reversed?
Thank you kindly, Gorjonkoth. Yes, my thread has endured for a long time. It contains many memories and milestones from my time on Gielinor.
Do I think Jagex will reverse their idiotic decision to close the forums?
I would like to believe they might. After all, it would certainly not be the first time Jagex reversed their plans. I was there when they removed The Wilderness and free trade from the game. This was just how it was going to be - until it wasn't. More recently, we had Hero Pass, which was going to be part of the game(with a new one coming every 90 days or so) - until it wasn't. These decisions proved to be so unpopular that Jagex realized they made a bad choice and took a different path.
Will history repeat? Will Jagex change their mind this time?
I guess it remains to be seen, but it depends upon how fiercely players are willing to fight for the forums. However, between recent members-only holiday events, the looming forced conversion of everyone's RuneScape accounts to the inferior and risky Jagex accounts, to this plan to force everyone into the Borg Collective of socialist-media platforms (where any opinions outside the groupthink will not be allowed) by eliminating criticism along with the RSOF, my confidence in the ability of Jagex to do the right thing has never been lower during the nearly 20 years I have been here than it is right now.
It is as though this company is searching for how best it can fail.

Yeah...
If you ask me I think forums will close as planned but something much smaller in nature will be released in the future, at least for clans.
But yeah there's the underlying issue that this is very much a free piece of content related to the game, membership isn't required so there is no perceived gain for Jagex leaving it open.
How would you go about keeping this thread? With good old screenshots?
Mexk is making a complete archive of the RSOF, including the foreign language servers, so that is something. Kings Abbot has mentioned using the RS Wiki to save our characters' information.
Still, I have put a lot of time and effort into my thread, as have others invested in their own threads. There is a lot of RuneScape history here - and Jagex does not value it at all.
