Actually, I don't hate DG as much as I used to. In fact, I'm planning another trip to Daemonheim either tonight or this weekend. I currently have two active Daily Challenges. One is for Thieving (Pickpocketing) and the other is for Dungeoneering.

Some aspects of DG I do enjoy. Some puzzle rooms and bosses just annoy me. Also, encountering member-only content inside an F2P dungeon is obnoxious!

Jagex fixed a few problems with F2P DG, but they haven't fixed everything. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

I completed Task #15 by Skilling and Killing 30 times in and around Al Kharid, Falador, and Lumbridge. I finished this task after burying 276/800 bones. The first 4 bones I buried belonged to some goblin raiders I killed in the South Falador cabbage field. The remaining 272 were a large chunk of the 386 big bones I got on the Grand Exchange in trade for 660 air runes, 600 fire runes, and 60 mind runes I got from the rune shops in Burthorpe and Varrock, minus the 20,400gp I spent buying 600 air runes and 600 fire runes. The remaining bones I left in my bank for use in any future Prayer task I might get.

I received the Buck stag pet. This is my 56th pet. My list of pets on page 11 has been updated.

For Task #16, I can string 450 bows or smelt 900 bars (steel or better).

Fletching tasks annoy me. Therefore, I will be smelting. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

I more than completed Task #16 by smelting 885 steel bars (85 extra bars) and 23 rune bars (3 extra bars) in Lumbridge for a total of 908/900 bars smelted.

I received a sealed clue scroll (medium). As this was the only reward on the free track for this task, was the clue scroll usable by F2P?

Of course not. When I examined the clue scroll, I got the usual message. "Login to a members' server to use this object." :@ Yet again, thanks for nothing, Jagex.

For Task #17, I can catch 265 fish (salmon or better) or mine 280 ores (coal or better).

I'll be mining for this one. Right now, I'm already annoyed, so I may as well go Dungeoneering. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Early this morning, I returned from Daemonheim. I did Floor 27.

I fished 11 web snippers and 51 short-finned eels. While cooking these, I burned 3 of the web snippers and 12 of the short-finned eels. There were plenty of brutes, guard dogs, and bats to fight. There were no puzzle rooms, and I explored every room, including all bonus rooms.

In the boss room, I faced the Night-gazer Khighorahk. If you remember to light all four pillars in the room's corners and avoid the boss monster's special attack, it's fairly easy to kill.

When I left this dungeon, I was just 19,751 XP short of the next level - and I completed a Daily Dungeoneering Challenge. Redeeming the challenge got me 33,547 XP, so I reached Dungeoneering level 89! :)

My Total Level is 1625 (Virtual Level 1633).

All of my F2P skills are at level 89 or better, except for Firemaking, Prayer, and Woodcutting, all of which are at level 88. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

I more than completed Task #17 by mining 100 luminite, 100 coal, and 100 runite ores in and around the Mining Guild, for a total of 300/280 ores.

I received a medium lava lantern, which I used to gain 17,204 XP and BXP in Smithing.

For Task #18, I can earn 264,495 Smithing XP or Skill and Kill 30 times.

I received the Seren Crystal Dagger cosmetic overrides.

For Task #19, I can cook 600 swordfish or kill 904 monsters.

I'm not sure which task I'll do. If I go with the Cooking task, first I will need to acquire a few hundred more raw swordfish, either by fishing or shopping, or both. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!
