You know, I was just thinking that a Prayer Event would work well with Jagex's current event model. They could base it at the Edgeville monastery, use it as an excuse to update it to the new artistic style, and give us some nifty rewards.

Prayer used to be a horribly grindy skill to train in F2P. It is better now that Daily Prayer Challenges grant a decent amount of XP, making them worth completing and redeeming. An event centered around Prayer would definitly be good for me, as the current event has helped with my artisan and gathering skills.

Early this morning, while making use of the underwater fishing spot unlocked by the Beneath Cursed Tides quest, I reached Fishing level 92! Halfway there!

This brought my Fishing level back in line with my Cooking level.

My Total Level is 1577 (Virtual Level 1579).

While I was underwater, I grabbed more seaweed and another sea cucumber to add to my collection. My bank is an odd assortment. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Indeed, the reworked Prayer Challenges have been a godsend! I'm livin' on a prayer? Well, you certainly made no bones about that!

Early this morning, I more than completed a Daily Mining Challenge by filling my backpack with gold ore obtained at the mine north of Al Kharid. Redeeming this challenge earned me 51,607 XP - and got me to virtual Mining level 100!

This is my third virtual level, and is the first virtual level I achieved in a skill other than Smithing.

My Total Level is 1577 (Virtual Level 1580).

Now I have no 99s...unless you look at the HiScores or my Runemetrics profile. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

I didn't complete the artisan event. I ended up getting Doran to level 23/30. I had the oak and willow logs, silver bars, and swordfish required for the screwdriver override. I simply didn't have enough patches left to contribute before the event ended. I was 109 patches short.

I unlocked several other cosmetics though, plus I made some helpful consumables (which I used up), along with some ramhammers and chainaxes. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!
