I completed Task #5 by Skilling and Killing 20 times in and around Al Kharid.

I received a small protean pack, which I used to gain 75 protean bars. I also received the Hector hare pet. This is my 55th pet. My list of pets on page 11 has been updated.

I went on to complete Task #6 by going on a Seren Spirit hunt. I found these 5 Seren Spirits in the Duke's room in Lumbridge Castle, on the Archaeology Guild campus, in the barbarian village, in the middle of Varrock Square, and in the courtyard of Falador Castle. The other option would have been to kill 452 monsters.

I received a small coin bag containing 5,009gp and a small prismatic lamp, which I used to gain 5,593 Dungeoneering XP.

For Task #7, I can mine 210 ores (coal or better) or Skill and Kill 20 times.

I more than completed Task #7 by fulfilling BOTH options! I did half of my Skilling and Killing through my daily activities in Al Kharid (10/20), then I Skilled and Killed another 10 times while mining 100 coal, 60 luminite, and 60 runite ores in and around the Mining Guild, for a total of 220/210 ores. I wasn't sure which option I would finish first. It turned out I completed the Skilling and Killing upon mining ore #197, but I kept going until I had mined all the ores I intended to get.

I received absolutely nothing. There is literally NO reward on the free track for Task #7. :@

For Task #8, I could attempt to earn thaler 12 times by playing dead minigames or earn 144,270 Smithing XP.

*sigh* I used to enjoy the Smithing tasks - before they required me to burn through hundreds of protean bars. Now, where did I leave that Stone of Meditation? Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

I completed Task #8 by earning at least 144,270 Smithing XP while doing some protean elder rune smithing in the Artisans' Workshop. I went through 273 protean bars. I also employed five advanced pulse cores and the Stone of Meditation for added XP.

I received the Mourner's Mask cosmetic override. Swell. Now I can mourn for the old Smithing tasks in style, I suppose.

For Task #9, I could Skill and Kill 25 times or smelt 500 bars (steel or better).

I'll work on my dailies and do some smelting. We'll see which option I finish first. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

I more than completed Task #9 by smelting 216 steel bars, 226 mithril bars, and 65 rune bars in the Artisans' Workshop for a total of 507/500 bars smelted. I was about halfway through the Skilling and Killing option when I finished smelting, as I hadn't yet done my dailies by this point.

For Task #10, I can catch 135 fish (salmon or better) or bury 500 bones.

I more than completed Task #10 by harpooning 77 swordfish and 81 tuna for a total of 158/135 fish caught. I ended up making 6 runs from the dock to Stiles, so he could note the fish for me. I added these 158 fish, along with 26 bananas, to my bank.

I received absolutely nothing. As was the case with Task #7, there is NO reward on the free track for completing Task #10 - which was also the case during the last Yak Track.

Thanks for nothing, Jagex. Wow, these tracks are SO...rewarding. *rolls eyes*

For Task #11, I can locate the wandering yak or Skill and Kill 25 times.

I completed Task #11 by Skilling and Killing 25 times in and around Al Kharid, Lumbridge, Falador, and Taverley. I never did find that stupid wandering yak. I wasted too much time searching for that lousy beast. I even tried hopping worlds and enlisting help from another player. None of it amounted to anything except boredom and annoyance. I even stopped to chop an evil tree west of Falador rather than continue the pointless search for this wretched yak. Maybe it was member-only content. Don't know, don't care. I'm just glad to be done with this task.

I went on to skip Task #12, because I had no interest at all in stringing 700 bows or in earning 168,498 Dungeoneering XP.

I received the Iorwerth Warhammer cosmetic override.

For Task #13, I can chop 215 logs (willow or better) or Skill and Kill 25 times.

I more than completed Task #13 by once again fulfilling BOTH options! I did roughly half of my Skilling and Killing through my daily activities in Al Kharid (13/25), then I Skilled and Killed another 12 times while chopping and burning yew logs in Edgeville. I wasn't sure which option I would finish first. It turned out I completed the Skilling and Killing after burning half the sixth inventory of yew logs. I kept going until I had chopped 221/215 logs, since I wanted more Woodcutting XP. This was just short of eight full inventories of yew logs. I banked all the logs, except for the one inventory I burned.

Also, the first 25 yew logs I chopped completed a Daily Woodcutting Challenge. Redeeming this challenge earned me 33,547 Woodcutting XP.

I received a medium prismatic lamp, which I used to gain 11,185 Dungeoneering XP.

For Task #14, I could earn 203,180 Crafting XP or catch 100 fish (salmon or better).

It's interesting to note that, unlike other Yak Track tasks, the Fishing tasks have gotten easier to complete. First I had to catch 180 fish. Then it was 135. This time it was 100. I don't expect this curious trend to continue for much longer.

For Task #15, I can bury 800 bones or Skill and Kill 30 times.

While I could use the Prayer XP, most likely this task will be completed by Skilling and Killing. However, there's no reason some of that skilling couldn't involve burying bones. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!
