No worries, Threes! I'm still around. It's just been pretty quiet following 1.2 XP Live. There has been nothing of note to post about recently. I did leave a reply to you over in the Forum Games chat lounge a few days ago, but I've not seen you over there since you said hello.

I just completed a Daily Woodcutting Challenge after chopping a full inventory of yew logs in Edgeville. Redeeming this challenge earned me 33,547 Woodcutting XP.

I didn't gain a level, but this put me over the 130,000,000 mark in Total XP. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Good Guthix, Jagex has inflicted yet another shameless bond shilling Yak Track event upon us! Didn't we just get rid of the previous one? Yes...yes we did. Apparently, the whales weren't buying enough bonds, so now we all must be punished. :@

So it begins again:

I completed Task #1 by speaking with Angof in Burthorpe and listening to her yakstory. The other option was Skilling and Killing 10 times.

I received the Seren Crystal armor cosmetic overrides.

I went on to more than complete Task #2 by chopping 100/95 yew logs in Edgeville. The logs had to be willow or better. The other option was killing 452 monsters.

For Task #3, I could string 200 bows or Skill and Kill 15 times.

I have not yet done my daily activities, so it looks like Skilling and Killing is my best choice. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

I'm back from my latest fishing trip to Karamja.

I more than completed Task #4 by harpooning 94 swordfish and 90 tuna for a total of 184/180 fish caught. I ended up making 7 runs from the dock to Stiles, so he could note the fish for me. I added these 184 fish, along with 26 bananas, to my bank.

I received a small prismatic lamp, which I used to gain 5,923 Ranged XP.

For Task #5, I can earn 142,226 Crafting XP or Skill and Kill 20 times.

As they did with Dungeoneering and Smithing tasks before, Jagex has changed Crafting tasks from having to do specific things to earning base XP however the player chooses. While that may seem like an improvement, it is not - because the XP targets to reach are COMPLETELY unreasonable for a limited-time event. They are assuming that 'Scapers are shut-ins who spend every waking moment playing this game, or that we will consent to making the proper, healthy choice by buying skip token packages.

No. I will not be doing any of that.

The more unpleasant Jagex continues to make these Yak Tracks, the less interested I am in participating in them.

This is the 7th Yak Track we have had. I'd be delighted if it turned out to be the last one. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!
