The issue is that the Magic UI is overlaying every other UI, so it may have something to do with interacting with the Magic tab.

I'd like to add to my previous post about this issue as well as report two more. To be honest, I am kind of questioning if these posts are still even being looked at if a mod wouldn't mind confirming that.


Anyway, I figured out how to recreate the bug mentioned previously. If you're in the Combat Spells book under the Skilling tab and start enchanting some items then switch to another app then switch back to RuneScape the GUI's will be bugged causing the Skilling tab to be overlayed over everything else. Fix by exiting to the lobby then logging back in.

Bug 2: When you first log in, press and hold on a skill it will pop the window up showing the stats of the skill and update the experience gained in real time, however, if you open any other interface like the bank for example the experience will no longer update in real time. It will still show the updated information if you press and hold after skilling for awhile. Fix by exiting to the lobby then logging back in.

Bug 3: I have only noticed while Smithing and Enchanting items but if you start doing one of these tasks then switch to another app then back to RuneScape it will play all of the sounds all at once in a loud screech. Like all of the sounds accumulated and are now playing all at once.

Hey using osrs mobile on Android, noticed I can't charge my Trident of the seas. I can uncharge it, but cannot charge it. The chat box changes colors and does weird things, I've been playing osrs mobile for a while, osrs on my PC for even longer, 2200 on the main and nearly 2000 on the iron. First bug I've come across. Love the content and TOA looks amazing.

Playtime (Approx): RuneScape Mobile client seems to crash within 5-10 minutes of game play. I have noticed that loading screens are taking much longer today than previous days. It seems the client is being bogged down by something within RuneScape. The more loading screens that happen the faster the crash happens.
At the time of the crash I was: Doing hard clue scrolls.
Can it be reproduced?: Yes

At the time of the crash I was:
The app will crash when teleporting.
This happens a couple seconds after a teleport.

Can it be reproduced?: Yes
To recreate all I do is select a teleport destination, teleport to location, go to move and then the app will crash.

Additional notes:
Tried teleporting multiple different ways and all get the same result.
The type of crash is kind of weird. The app is still open. But it gets put in the background. I get logged out. So when looking at open apps and selecting RuneScape again I will be either in the process of logging in to lobby or sometimes fully logged out.

Not a crash - but a huge issue. I have an iPhone 8 and the RS App overrides my auto-lock feature, I.* the app NEVER sleeps. This makes sense in-game, but when lobbied the screen becomes max brightness and doesn’t sleep despite me having 2 mins auto-lock on in my settings.

I play a lot in the evening but fall asleep easily, and when I wake up RS is still on my phone and my battery is completely drained. There must be way of changing the app settings so that when lobbied my phone automatically sleeps after some time? Thanks a lot!

At the time of the crash I was: Does not relate because the crash happens as long as I'm playing the game weather it is questing or skilling. It really puting me off from playing the game and I don't know if its my phone or the App is just buggy. Tried clearing my cache, reinstall the App, restart my phone, still crashes. Changing the game settings does not work either(did not expect this to fixed it because I never change any setting at all before the crash keeps happening). Now I just don't know what to do now and its annoying and tiring.

To elaborate more on the crash, when I log in its fine and I could play normally for 5-10 mins. After 5-10 mins of playing and moving around, there will be a stutter and the audio gets distorted. The stutter happens, I think, when things are loading in but sometimes it just feels random. The stutter will start short at first, but will get progressively worst as I keep on playing for like 20 - 30 mins, to the point where the screen will freeze for like a second and the audio will continue playing in distorted sound. And at this point if I continue to play, the game would freeze completely and crash and closed the App. After the crash I could re-open the game again and log in just fine, but then it will repeat the process again.

I start replaying Runescape like 2 weeks ago? But the crashes only started to haopen like 2-3 days ago

Can it be reproduced?: It always happens when I'm playing

Replicability: Yes, this issue occurs every session.


Issue: I have had a constant issue where I cannot play RS mobile for more than 15 minutes. The framerate is steady while stationary, but once moving around the game world, the game become increasingly choppy and stutters progressively worse until it freezes and crashes to Home screen. It doesn't appear to be triggered by anything specifically, simply actively playing the game, doing activities, skilling, questing, whatever, this issue occurs.


The device I'm having issues on is brand new and the problem has occur regardless of settings, tweaks, workarounds either through the app, or the tablet system settings. I have even attempted to roll back my version of RS to 4_1_4 and no luck. It does not matter if I allow the cahce to download, clearing the cache, uninstalling/reinstalling, graphics settings, even a system reset. I have played the game on my girlfriend's Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 with the same OS and similar settings, and cannot replicate the issue. The only difference between the models I can think would make a difference is the new generate of Snapdragon processor in the S8. But I'm not an IT person and am just shooting in the dark.
