I'd love to report a bug using the bug reporting tool, but unfortunately I cannot login to the game, because I cannot login to the game. There used to be a web form for bug reports, but I'm unable to find it. The only thing left in the Customer Support area are a bunch of pages trying to convince me that it's my fault the game is broken.

I choose login with my username/password. The app shells out to Chrome. (Shelling out is new as of the time of the appearance of this bug.) I enter my username/password (and sometimes Google Auth for 30 days) in Chrome. The app dies, restarts, and asks me to login. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Eventually a capt*ha pops up to make me prove I'm not a bot.

Eventually eventually Android asks me if I want to keep trying to run a program that keeps crashing.

I have been unable to login since the game update on 28 Sept, which moved username/password to Chrome instead of being integrated into the game. Look at other posts in this forum. I'm not the only one.

I reset my phone to factory and downloaded rs mobile again and still have the same problem.

This issue is happening again after the mobile update last week. Same issue as before. This seems to be recurring frequently with mobile updates. I have heard several other players saying they had similar problems with mobile after this update. Is this something that happens to some devices and not others? Is there a work-around (I have tried and not found any). When mobile updates are being prepared for release it might be a good idea to try them before releasing them. I primarily play on mobile now and if I can't log in there I can't play at all. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Greetings,

I have been having issues attempting to login to Runescape with my Pixel 2 XL Android phone (running the latest version of Android 11).

On a normal login the process to login usually,

Tap app > app loads > login prompt > tap email/username login button > login page loads > inputs credentials > taps login button > app loads into game

When I attempt to login the process loops like this:

Tap app > app loads > login prompt > tap email/username login button > login page loads > inputs credentials > taps login button > app loops back into initial initial app loading screen > login prompt

I can confirm that this issue occurs in both wifi and on cellular data. Here are the troubleshooting steps attempted so far:

Uninstall and reinstall app
Force close app and erase data
Power cycled phone

Other information regarding my account:

Currently a subscribed member
Has 2 factor authentication turned on. App does not prompt for it during the loop
Am able to successfully login via desktop
No login incorrect or successful prompt is given during the loop.

Please let me know what I need to do to resolve this issue as I would like to enjoy playing your awesome game from my mobile phone.

Issue:
the top menu bar of the main menu is missing on my device. (i.e. currency pouch, menu with logout etc.)
It is there on my other devices.

At the time of the crash I was: doing anything ( after I load into the world anytime I click on anything whether it's a tree or a bank chest or the smelter or whatever there is a chance that the game just crashes and it can happen on the 1st thing I do or it can take a minute but I can't play for very long without it crashing
Can it be reproduced?: everytime I try to play on mobile

At the time of the crash I was: not a crash but touch controls are not accurate and screen keeps resizing when opening keypad thus closing keypad itself.
Can it be reproduced?: yes, you can try it out by tapping the space between the 'tap to find target' box (which we should have an option to remove to make the screen ui less clunky) and the right most skill under the box.

At the time of the crash I was: arriving from lodestone teleport. Happens almost every time. Also crashes after loading in after log in screen. Have tried clearing cache also.

This started right after I updated my phone. The UI is also skewed messing up the game play and the menu layout.
