How will the Noxious Scythe be affected by the weapon diversity beta? Is it classified as a spear, or a 2h sword with +2 range?

Nothing should change in here - halberds and scythes are classified as polearms.

Do we know anything about hastae, battleaxes, shortswords, longswords, pickaxes, hatchets, claws, warhammers, javelins and darts? I presume Ancient Magicks have their own effects, and staves and wands are different enough as is. But this might be a good opportunity to buff MTA wands, and return some passive effects to e.g. sagaies, royal crossbows, etc.
Bizarre Boron Fusswell, scryer extraordinaire. OSRS: POH ideas & RS3 minigames & achievement ideas !

Perhaps you're half right; perhaps we can't win. But we can fight.

That's a bit older, but basically that was the plan as of the gamejam last year: https://docs.google. c * */document/d/1- N V j jlVl4VpJ43LgH5fq5kDsEdddt wLr YYXoyHadaN8/edit#heading= h .zd98nfxvzszs - sorry for the censor, but I guess you should be able to get it running that way.

Special weapons are not supposed to (re)gain effects, it's just giving every weapon class something special rather than only a couple (like polearms, defenders or chompas)

Still no fix for the message some people keep getting upon logging in, saying that they have rewards waiting at the premier club golden chest at the grand exchange?
The message repeats itself upon every login and several people have made forum posts for this issue, it has been going on for a couple months...
I've made a Reddit post for this and Shauny mentioned that he'd bring this up :(

Not really a fan of the proposed combat changes. It's just adding another layer of confusion which many players don't need.

Remember a lot of the player base hate EOC already. Adding more isn't helping.

That is more like what we had PRIOR to the EOC - equipment with obscure effects mostly used for specific scenarios - you probably still won't do too much wrong by just sticking to the strongest weapon at your disposal - but for some situations it might help more grabbing something else then.

About combat changes:

Great that you're having a beta for them, but at the same time could you also take a look at PvM integrity? It's currently getting more and more common that players use macros, as they're not getting punished for it (even casually using macros on stream has been a thing for ages). I feel like adding more switching than we already have, on top of the increasing macro-abuse, would honestly do more bad than good for the PvM community as a whole.

Either start being more strict regarding marco-abusing, or flat-out implement a macro interface in-game.
