About combat changes:

Great that you're having a beta for them, but at the same time could you also take a look at PvM integrity? It's currently getting more and more common that players use macros, as they're not getting punished for it (even casually using macros on stream has been a thing for ages). I feel like adding more switching than we already have, on top of the increasing macro-abuse, would honestly do more bad than good for the PvM community as a whole.

Either start being more strict regarding marco-abusing, or flat-out implement a macro interface in-game.

They should just ban the PvMers using macros. It is against the rules and gives players an unfair advantage. You either play fairly or you don't get to play at all. A macro interface is absolutely ridiculous..
...

I don't care about other games, any form of automation shouldn't be allowed in the game. You should play in the way it's meant to be played. Allowing macros will only serve to create a grey zone, where even bots could argue that it should be allowed to bot because macros are allowed as well.

The rules should be as strictly enforced for macroing as they are for botting, in order for it to be effective. If not, we might as well not have this rule, as it would have no consequences anyways.

Macroing should result in a permanent ban, just as botting does, the PvM community shouldn't think that they stand above the rules for some reason or another.

Nope, I agree that there should either be an official way to automate switches (or a public statement allowing further than 1:1 input per macro) ingame or a way to prevent people from doing so altogether. Whether or not you personally care about other games is irrelevant.

Well done Jagex. I don't post often, but 3 of these I thank you for.

*
Robust glass once again defaults to crafting potion flasks instead of ogre flasks.

- This was so frustrating because usually I had made 2 Ogre flasks before I remembered. Thanks for this consideration :D

**The bank cleanup filter will now display items that can be stored in the quest storage chest.
- This I think will be useful - save a ton of bank space as well.

I would love to 'see' something that can show up
ALL stuff that can safely destroyed
or dropped,
from quests done & not needed anymore.

(It would be fantastic to have a link from the
"Quest completed" notice, that selects ALL the items aquired during the quest,
next time you opened your 'bank', but no longer need to be kept, a screen flashes up asking
'These items are no longer required, "Delete Yes/No?"
- Push the
Yes
button, and viola, all gone.
- An option of course would be to move to the chest....?

It would save a ton of bank space, & we could spend more time playing the game, instead of wasting time making room for something we need or think we now need. :P

*The
'Don't ask me again' option
for Kuradels special slayer challenge now correctly checks the appropriate variable when cycling through getting slayer tasks. Off means off now.
-
This option would be fantastic at the POF when removing a 'farmhand' from the pens.
How many times do we need to muck about answering the same question over and over and over..

So thanks Jagex, I, for one, appreciate these fixes. :D ^_^

Today is the tomorrow of yesterday , but are the dreams of yesterday . todays reality, or still the dreams of tomorrow ?

You gotta be kidding with the weapon diversity changes.

Zero changes to ranged basically, nothing that is good for that matter, and on top of that, you make magic even more powerful. Do you have any idea how chaotic Pvp is going to be? People will camp Magic/earth spells for days.

Magic is already the most overpowered style, and now you make it even stronger by buffing it, and don't even care for perhaps just giving ranged a single debuff? BRO. WHAT. THE. ****.

Did we read the same changes? Knives will allow you to get FIFTY PERCENT MORE ABILITIES at the cost of 5% dmg and accuracy. The DPS boost is insane! (It is guaranteed to get nerfed during the beta, because atm it's just beyond overpowered. I'd bet t70 knives would beat t92 anything) Shortbows have a flat 6% increase if you're good with positioning, 2h crossbows got a massive buff for high def bosses, shieldbows makes cade cost 70% adren with ring of vigour.

I honestly have no clue how you could read that post and think that there were no buffs to ranged.
