My Favourite Runescape Song is Citharede Requiem

Citharede Requiem was a music track in the first ever voice over quest of Runescape (One Piercing Note) I loved the quest so much. When the quest came out I just wanted to do it quickly and get over with it. Yet when I heard the first line of voice over it got me sucked into the quest and I ended up following the whole storyline of the quest. Ever since that quest I have been excually reading the quests when I did them. I have done the One Piercing Note quest about 4 or 5 times just to relive the quest again.

Most of the time I dont listen to the Runescape music and just listen to Spotify. Yet every once in a while I turn on the Runescape music just to listen to Citharede Requiem.

PS: Thanks for making One Piercing Note F2P!! Now I can Relive it without haveing to pay a bond <3
One step and all is over.... A plunge.... A bubble and no more...

My favorite Runescape track is Harmony, which I still listen to today. Harmony is my favorite because its a really good track that reminds me of my old starting days of playing and exploring the game.

Music has always been one of my favorite things about playing Runescape, and of course, unlocking new music to listen to! Growing up actually, was a bit difficult with having Asperger's, and I found myself devoting a lot of time trying to figure out how to express myself, and really, music became the way for me to above all other things. Runescape too, helped me become more social and gave me something more to look forward to everyday when I came home from school— being able to listen to my favorite song, Harmony, and making friends. I am so drawn-in by the story it tells and the exquisite use of instruments it uses in its recurring theme— especially the kalimba and harpsichord introduction and its development throughout the piece. Honestly, getting to listen to the music on Runescape helped develop my passion for music too, and frankly, I don't think I'd be the person I am today without hearing it, so I am thankful for that. I'm thankful that listening to these beautiful compositions helped me write my own and learn instruments, and ultimately, more about myself! :) ~ Paws ~

I really like 'Ballad of the Basilisk', because it's so catchy, and so much fun to sing.

I wander round enthusiastically declaring, "Sing praise to our hero, and remember with cheer (HEY!) how V smote the Basilisk, and freed us from fear!" and the rest of my family wish he had stayed home quietly in bed. :)

From the volume I sing it at and the number of times they've heard it, I hasten to add; not because I can't sing. That's one aspect they *can't* complain about. :D

Cave Background is probably my favorite song, I fondly remember listening to it as I mined mithril for hours in the Dwarven Mines early in my Runescape career. However, when I really think of it, the song that by far resonates with me the most was Born to Do This, which was the login screen song when I first started playing in 2012. Something about that song filled me with a sense of excitement for the big world I got to explore while playing, especially when I became a member for the first time and walked into the exciting new world West of the so-called "Member's Wall" by Falador. I would even hum the song at school, since I was shy back then and I hoped that someone nearby would overhear and recognize the song so that we could talk about Runescape without me having to start the social interaction! When I listen to it now, I get filled with nostalgia, and a bunch of happy memories come back at once. I don't have as much time to play these days, but this game, and this song in particular, will always have a special place in my heart. :) ... Aw this is getting cheesy but I mean it all ^_^ Congrats on the world record!
