its compatible, I've tried everything said in this thread and 1 guy even said he got a brand new up to date computer and even he's having the same issue
Make sure that your
drivers are up to date
. Try
clearing your cache
, followed by switching to the Jagex beta launcher, Steam client, or enabling
compatibility mode
if all fails. Extra links:

If you include your device specifications it may help as well.

Similar issue here. Since the update of October 17, after every teleport, the CPU usage skyrockets to 100% and I have to wait 20/30 seconds before I can do anything again. Got a 64-bit version of Windows, 8Gb RAM, AMD FX-6100 six-core processor and a GeForce GTX 1050 compatible with OpenGL 3.0. Every driver is updated. According to Jagex's post I shouldn't be having any issues. Fix this already!
@Pentine that sounds a bit unusual. Is your client currently in Normal mode or Compatibility mode? You can check this by following the
guide here
. If you are in Normal mode, try the advice posted a few messages up. If all fails perhaps try tweaking your RS graphics settings in a way that it'll utilize less processing power when loading the game world. For example draw distance, lighting details, and enable loading screens if not already. It may take some trial and error to see if any of this has any effect. If you check task manager, how is your CPU and memory usage looking when playing normally/when idling in game?

Turned on Compatibility mode and it gave a good improvement. Still a bit laggy but nowhere near what it was. Graphics are pretty shitty at the moment though. Let's hope Jagex finds a permanent fix soon.
