Has the concept of the BH+1 system being introduced been discussed at all? I only bring it up because an item sink could be useful to the game (the price of Dragon Boots is pathetic) and it offers something uniquely different from other forms of combat. It's more profitable to pures and zerkers, and main pkers still have the incentive to fight in rune armor; there is of course absolutely no incentive for high-risk fights because of the nature of random drops, but high risk fights can be done elsewhere in the game.

Its not about balance, everything isn't about balance. With out proper incentive this idea would be dead anyways.

I want to profit from pking, so for me its not about balance, balance isn't everything.

People would not want to pk if they don't get anything out of it.

then you don't want the longevity of the game which means you might as well stop playing lol.

whats not to enjoy about killing people and taking forever to get a corrupt vestas long sword or normal version?

is it because it's too hard and you can't pk? then get better

You're right, we do need higher level and to progressively increase the effectiveness of weapons and armours. This needs to be done slowly as to secure a future for further upgrades.

If we release all of the best weapons that can one hit you in one special attack right now, what will we release next year that is equally as good or better? There won't be anything.

I dont agree with this. We don't need to keep getting stronger weapons and armour. We don't need a gear grind. Expanding the variety of the top tier weapons is great, to get many weapons that could have the best stab or crush or slash attack bonus, with different attack speeds.

So that the current best gear (whip/dbow/barrows gear) will always be viable (but not the best in all situations). I hate OP weapon updates like how the staff of the dead devaluated the master wand and ancient staff. People watch olschool runescape PK videos and don't recognize the game anymore due to new items. If you want to have a staff with slightly less magic attack bonus that has a chance on saving runes, fine. But don't make it 15% more powerful than all the other weapons.

I agree, make top tier weapons on par with what we already have but with different strengths in different areas, not 1-hit wonder weapons.
I'm a huge fan of Construction; love the skill. In particular I'm absolutely fascinated with the
Player-Owned House Dungeon.
My dream is for everyone to be able to build their own personal PvM challenge, one that rivals even current content.
