I personally would love to see this change. I have treasure seeker and have been stockpiling my clues for when I unlock my 5th area. I've essentially been disregarding my hard and elite clues because of the small chances of completing them, this would make that so much better. I have over 500 clues and would love to see this pass.

Make it so clue steps are only in your regions. Helps both US and TS. Dropping clues just feels too sickening. This latest update won't reduce the number of clues you drop. If you want to balance US, take out the guaranteed clue drop on Superiors.

I don't know that this solves the underlying issue, honestly. The amount of points locked behind clue scrolls make them functionally mandatory content, but without any kind of area restriction on where clue scrolls can roll, I don't know that this solves much. Even something basic like making hard clues not roll wilderness unless you have it is a huge QoL because there are so many hard clues in wilderness.

It's still a lot better than current, but still results in most players never being able to finish a master clue, and basically no players finishing elites without the clue scroll relic.

Also, changes this massive also change the balance of the fourth relic pretty significantly. Decisions made before the knowledge of changes feel pretty bad when changes are made that alter the power of the relics that massively.

I personally feel that the original change (all accounts get clues in their region) if
1. They are at relic tier 4 or higher,
2. Do not have an area choice available relative to their amount of completed tasks (in other words, if they have 140 tasks completed, they have to choose two areas) before being able to solve a clue step
3. Give Treasure Seeker choosers a sort of compensation. Like allowing choice of tasks without increased superior rate OR the same superior rate without task choice (my preferred one).

Alternatively, this can be a change ONLY for Treasure Seekers, as it targets content meant to be made better for them. While it could be seen as a major buff, I think that the interpretation of the relic choice already implied clues would be easier, and it would be nice to have a valid choice between the two relics. Unnatural Selection is, by far, superior than Treasure Seeker. It is almost as bad of a relic to pick (currently) as Fairy's Flight in the second tier in terms of relative value.

Barring these, I think no changes should be implemented. Allowing clues to "save steps" will still be stronger for Unnatural Selection as they can generate clues FASTER than Treasure Seekers, thus still benefiting more from a change not directed at them.

I still prefer the original idea better, but I am still okay with the second proposal as well. In the Twisted League, all clues were region locked, so I think it should've been the same for this one and I originally went in with the expectation that it was. I will however accept the being able to drop clues and still have my steps count as I haven't even done 10 clue scrolls as of this moment in time out of the hundreds I have had drop. I think I have completed 3 beginners, 3 or 4 hards, and 1 easy. If it was steps that I just couldn't do because I didn't have the equipment or skill, then that is fine, but to have it in a region I cannot access because I cannot unlock it is just irritating.

I can get behind this idea, making clue scrolls rare again for US. Another great suggestion.

I preferred the first proposal honestly. As someone who selected treasure seeker I don't mind if unnatural selection has their clues drop every time from superiors, it allows both options to complete clues and be competitive and that's okay with me. They still will not have the additional drop rate for geodes, nests, and bottles, as well as not being able to stack clues and possibly having max steps. All the while ill be still be zipping through clues and stockpiling massive amounts do all at once instead of one of each at a time. At the very least, no matter what decision is made to fix clue scrolls the region should be limited to available areas. not necessarily to areas chosen, but to stop people from getting clues in areas like Hosidius which is unavailable to everyone regardless of regions chosen. The option to do nothing and apply lessons from this league to the next shouldn't even be a discussion honestly. A simple look at the hi scores can show that, not a single master clue has been completed, and between the top 10 people in elite clues collectively only 155 have been completed, 75 of those split between the top 3. I'm aware of the differences between Twisted in Trailblazer in terms of region unlocks this time, but at least in Twisted our clues where locked to Kourend, here our clues can quite literally be anywhere and it makes things outright impossible. Please do something to fix the clues but for gods sake don't do nothing.
