I prefer the original proposal but this change is fine too. Any update to make clues easier to complete would be welcome at this point.

Something needs to change, there is no use in even trying to do clues in their current state.

I wouldn't add it to the main game, as majority steps you can do & if you can't it's just because you haven't done a quest or obtained a required item or limited yourself to not being able to go to a certain area

With the 1st update declined and the 2nd given and as a treasure seeker myself:

I think any change to the current clue system is needed. I think there are better ways to go about it than simply not resetting clue steps, but sure. I do have my doubts though that with the way the 1st proposal ended, this will do any better. It doesn't fix the fundamental complaints that the people were giving. It just makes it simpler for TS to complete clues, while it makes it actually possible for US to.

However, we've now made our beds, twice now in fact, so i'm personally of the belief of letting them lie in it. Wash your hands of the situation and move on.

Don't really know if they pay attention to the forums since it has so little activity. Most of the conversation seems to be happening on Reddit where I don't actually use.

Thank you for conceding to feedback. I still feel that, fundamentally, the TS relic was implemented knowing juggling would be a thing. Proof: previous league's clues already anticipated Kourend/Kebos would be the only areas available, did it not? For this league it is apparent the tier 4 relics were designed around knowing clues would be difficult. Unnatural Selection is still leagues better of a relic with this change. Pun intended. I would have gone with US if this was the original implementation, because with it, its just vanilla clue scrolls. It's making a challenge mode more like the main game. I'm not sure how I feel about it being changed suddenly.

I am against the second proposed change as is. It's a nice QoL change, but it doesn't address the core issues.

Unnatural Selection will still benefit the most, with easier Slayer Tasks, and the full potential to complete clues.

Meanwhile Treasure Seekers don't have much of a chance to complete some of the following:
100 - Defeat kraken
100 - 10 superiors
250 - 20 superiors
250 - 250 kraken
250 - 500 kraken
250 - 750 kraken
250 - 1 unsired
250 - abyssal bludgeon
250 - abyssal dagger
250 - 100 sire kills
250 - 250 sire kills
250 - 500 sire kills
250 - Defeat cerb
250 - Equip cerb boots
250 - Defeat thermy
250 - 50 superior

Either go with NO changes, or merge the two relics (if merging the two relics, the second proposal will work fine with it)

This is only a buff for US. With TS, we essentially already have this capability with juggling. I've juggled this league with TS, and it isn't bad. The new change would save me 1/100 clues, maybe. For US guys, it means they don't have to be vigilant over 100s of kills to match TS. It still just buffs US, not TS. Saying this is a compromise is incorrect. It just continues to devalue TS. I'm fine if you do it, but just know that this only makes the slayer relic the only choice, leaving TS people behind. The only way you would be able to balance is to change the guaranteed drop from superiors to a non-100 percent, because that is what makes these changes devalue TS so much. There is a 1:1 clue aquisition rate between the two relics if used properly, so the only thing that make TS actually viable, and why I chose it, is because it enables easy juggling. You get rid of juggling, you need to nerf US or further buff TS to get 1/10 drop rate or something.

I think the alternative proposal for clue scrolls is a great compromise. It opens up clue scroll completion to all players while keeping the competitive advantage for clues with the clue scroll relic.

Trailblazer League has been some of the best content I've played in Runescape. Thanks for all the work you put into the League, and for the attention you've given to your player community.
