What the hell is this? The charts are like trying to read a whiteboard made by one of the big conspiracy theorists lol...

Hard pass. Its not like mage armors are in short supply and we certainly don't need nmz imbueing to replaced or the devaluing of ancestral robes with stuff that nobody will use except for the level 80 ones anyway :P

What exactly is the point of training this skill except to get our ring imbues back?

No wonder you polled this last. Doesn't look like a fun skill to train to me lmao

Let's veto it a third poll! That's my honest opinion. Played since 04, maxed pre eoc. Here i am still playing osrs trying to max another account while balancing adult life. If warding occurs, Itll be the likely end of a very long chapter. Bring back fist of guthix and stealing creation, update your minigames, castle wars was the best thing ever back in the day. Incorporate aspects of warding to rcin crafting hunter etc. A new skill is overkill and such a deterrent to long time players. Instead of focusing on new content that will ultimately change much of the game so drastically. We should focus on qol improvements and content that brings friends together ingame through minigames and group bossing. everything's instanced now forcing people to repeat over and over again monotonously. Update the current rc, crafting, hunter skills accordingly and instead focus on the important aspects of bringing people together in game to play. I get people like new content, its fresh. But how many times does something new and promising come out and is dead on arrival? Aerial fishing comes go mind real quick. Got my golden tench before 1 pearl. Probably never go back because how click intensive and sub par the xp is. Warding has the potential to afflict so many aspects of the game. I'm glad your at least running beta to test affects but how many times we gotta veto the idea before you stop cramming it down our throats?

this does not fit in with osrs. This is just invention under a different name. Why can't they just add the new items to the crafting skill or make them as monster drops.

This is trash. Will be voting no.

BTW lms update looks great, and can't wait to play more last man standing when it is in the main game.

I really like the idea of this new skill. The design document is very detailed and a lot of things have been improved since the first version. Thank you so much for the hard work :)
I don't see why the skill shouldn't be added to the game:
1. it has an oldschool feeling
2. it adds many hours of new content to the game (skilling, questing, playing the minigame,...)
3. it fills some gaps (e.g. it's very hard to get some good magic armor as a starting player imo)
4. it is healthy for the game on the long term. it will bring back old players and probably attract new ones.

Wow it's pretty sad how most of these people don't see the future of this game. Warding has so much potential and it definitely fits as an OSRS skill, unlike the ones in RS3. This isn't 2007scape its old school runescape. I think people forget that back then in Pre EOC jagex was adding updates without the care of the community. Being able to vote is a blessing and seeing how Jagex listens to our concerns is the greatest thing a game can do.

If you dont care about the skill dont train it. The details behind warding seem really good and I personally would love to see it in the game. People say its a boring skill but have you ever trained herblore, crafting, smithing etc.... All these other skills are no different. This one fits as an old school skill. I beleive in the long run it will be a great addition.

I hope the developer team continues to hear and think of great additions to make this skill better, and useful and relate more advance level quests that can utilize this skill in a FUN way. Keep the skill alive elsewhere.

Last, I hope that You guys really think of a way to have this skill stay unique by not making the new magic armors "very easy to make and ward".. for ex: it would suck if the first two months that the skill is out and there is already an overflow of the new armours causing a crash in their value and price. And i believe that the anti-poison lamp should be a higher level, or leave it at level 20 and as the anti poison resistance increases then so will the level required for the lamp. For ex: level 35 warding for an anti-poison+ lamp. and so on.

Also, maybe adding a serpentine visage or a huge amount of scales to make the lamp resistant to venom.. just my thought. which should require at least level 60 or 70 warding.

"Wah wah wah it's like Invention." Dude.. I don't even know much about Invention. If you actually played that awful game long enough to know how Invention works, then you clearly have no taste in what true RuneScape looks like. Pre EoCers are a cancer on this game. For a true 04-07 Old Schooler, I see no issue with this skill.

I see no issues with this Warding skill. People are crying, and yet the integrity problems have been patched up. What exactly is wrong with this skill? I just see people crying for no reason.

It fits the 04-07 feel perfectly. It's like Smithing and Crafting, but for Magic instead of Melee or Ranged. So what's the problem?

If you're maxed, so what? I'm maxed. What's wrong with finally having a new skill to train? I just don't understand the mentality of this idiotic community.

Dissolving is bad because "muh invention?" Again, I don't understand. It's clearly explained how it is good for the economy. It's good for the game. Who cares if it might be somewhat like some skill us veterans are vaguely even aware of in some other game?

Andrew Gower himself approved of the ideas behind Warding. GROW UP.
Long live the Wilderness. Long live risk vs reward in PVM. Long live 2006.
