Well im a ten year vet with runescape and i can by far say that this game will need new content SOONER or LATER, no matter what. Because i hate to say it folks but yes there is a DEAD END,... wouldn't you like more options and creative things to do with your old school characters.
New content !

I'll add here to what I've posted elsewhere.

NEW content would have been a wonderful way to go with this game. However all people have done is asked for content from the main game to be added here. Even the NEW mini game is similar to one in the main game*

NEW ways of adding some of the content from the main game would have been preferable too**

Unfortunately people could only see the convenience*** updates and that spoiled it for me and I haven't played since one of them.

My point on another thread is how far will people go before they quit too. What content from the main added to this would be too far. According to Mod Mat K there have been over a 1000 suggestions (I presume these also include the forbidden topics) and he states that the game will always be player driven.

Maybe now would be a time to poll all those suggestions over a number of weeks (maybe whilst there busy doing the new mini game and fixing path finding) to see how people feel about them.

People won't then be disappointed sometime down the line when Rest and G.E. are implemented **** And they won't have wasted there time like I did, playing a game not realising a game changing update would be included.

* I have never played dominion tower this is just something gleaned from other threads.

** Example 1 - Instead of just noting the crops on farming, use baskets and sacks for higher level produce.
Example 2 - Instead of turning the herbalist in Nardah into Barter Bob make the potions 4 doses when made instead of 3

*** I use the word convenience as apparently they are not easy buttons some people really struggle to play the game.

I don't know why people want NEW content ? Why not a OLD content i asked for the old mining animation and they polled it why not think backwards if we can think backwards maybe after 1 year are 2 maybe we have the excact copy of 2006 !

I'm liking the updates tbh. But if it gets more than 77% of the poll, then I don't see a problem in adding it.

There are a few *big* (so to speak) updates I wanted in the game.

Stealing creation (new location, not in the wildy)

Remembering the "*".. Like when you click x, take out 14 items of your bank. Then close your bank, and try and withdraw them items again, the 14 is remembered.

Change doesn't have to be a bad thing. Don't be afraid or averse to it, just because you want to keep the game the same. Keep an open mind and don't let nostalgia cloud your judgment.

Things can be added to the game that never existed in it before, It can become a completely different game than it was previously. Just because it is something that you are unfamiliar with, doesn't mean that it can't be a good or fun addition.

Without change this game will not evolve. If it doesn't evolve, it will stagnate. Then eventually it will die, because people will get bored of it. Let's face it, when most people have done all quests, gained 99 in all skills, with no new content, what will happen?

Without updates OSRS will die.

I am happy for OSRS to be a completely different game with features what weren't even in the EOC, because OSRS is a new game for the developers to shape and now because of the high level of communication between players and Jmods I think we can work together to make an awesome game.
