New content please. Getting a high combat level isn't as a big deal currently.. Since you can Pk at most levels. I like to PvM. Pkings pretty fun but currently I don't have the motivation to get to a high level like I am on EoC since I won't be able to PvM a lot bossing wise. #Peng squad || Release Nex hard mode pls

I think that you should start update Old school as you did, from 2007-2008-2009 and so on, and then we can vote yes or no to it, like you ask us if we want it to be like 2008 and then we can vote for yes and no, and if we get more than 75% yes you will ask if the G.E should be there, or if godwars should be there, but you wouldn't have to ask for small updates such as, "smith all" or a quest that doesn't do anything special like dorics quest for example, but a quest as smokin kills or whats its called could have a yes or no vote.

First of all: Thank you for what you're doing mod Mat K and other oldschool jagex staff, I love the interaction with the players!

And for myself, I think oldschool needs updates, ofcourse things like pathfinding should be updated, but for the long run I think godwars and updates like that should be added, and maybe even (Player made) Updates, like the Dom onion tower.

I'm all for new updates. Particularity some new training methods. I would use Agility as an example. We need Advanced courses in OSR and you can't deny it. Just don't implement that stupid penance horn and we'll be good. Cause the penance horn really cheapened Agility significantly. As someone who got 99 in EOC, I just simply have to say it is going to be vital to add those advanced courses. WE ARE...

On line 10, paragraph 2 you may want to change "staffer" to staff :p, it's friday! We all get carried away haha.

Great read! some real positive words in there, sort of reiterating "this is where we listen to you" and i like the fact that we can possibly move in a way Runescape never did.

I think that should say ''Content or None'' as what players are suggesting is content that's already been added to the main game, not NEW content.

It isn't that I'm wholly opposed to content being added (NEW content I can hardly be opposed to without information on it) to Old School.

It isn't even that I just 'can't stand' the main game (I do play it).

Many posting in these forums want updates from the main game (as is evidenced in this thread alone). They want the EASY buttons that the main game has. As if there's something difficult in playing the old game.

There's NOT new ideas floating around, so 'new content' isn't even on the table (yep, the onion passed so there's ONE new piece of content).

Nobody's thinking outside the box... they're too hung up on wanting what the main game has.

I don't oppose the main game, I play it.

I oppose the easy buttons from the main game, being (even) considered for Old School.

I definitely support the idea of updates to OSRS, as long as all of them get voted in on the same manner as the current content polls. I would love to see the return of old-school stuff that got added shortly after the time from which this game was pulled (While Guthix Sleeps, Stealing Creation, and maybe the GE although I know I'm in the minority in that regard...) as well as possible new updates like the coming minigame.

To all the people saying "Keep old school old" and saying we should have NO updates, remember that this is just opening up the OPTION of updates. You can still vote "no" in every single poll if you're that adamant about it... or you might find yourself gaining a more open mind and voting for some updates you might like.
