so people that liked rs but not eoc took the opportunity to get the game they loved,they didn't vote for the sake of having an out-dated game, no they voted because they like the runescape version as it was before eoc.
so now we would like to see the game evolve again.
so if you want to have a game that doesn't change, please go to rs classic or go look for some private servers...

The funniest part of this though is the fact that all these players have no problem vocalizing their opinion on OSRS forums to ruin the game that we enjoy. However if you suggest they go to the EoC forums to petition Jagex to start doing polls for player feedback..that idea is absurd to them

My point is that, if you're only coming to OLD SCHOOL style runescape because you don't like the evolution of combat update. Then there's probably a better way to solve your problem than that.
Because there's A LOT of awesome content on the main game that you will never get approved in OSRS.
It works on the main game, it just doesn't fit in here.
If you're going to get bored in OSRS and spend all of your time fighting for updates, then wouldn't your time be better spent else where?
The problem here doesn't lie with the Old school players who are happy with how the game is.
The problem lies with the player who came to the game with the intent on changing everything about it.
By the way, those polls didn't pass, so you're not enough of a majority.
