In one year this game will essentially be a pre Eoc server complete with grand exchange and every thing that the GE softies want. Its highly selfish to come into a place designed for vets to relive their nostalgia and demand that it be furnished for you. I have no problem with minor fixes and events, new minigames ect. But nothing that actually fundamentally changes the game. If I recall correctly...A small but very vocal minority of players wanted 2006 runescape, But Eoc came and the Riff Raff from recent times came in and took over the 2007 game because they hate Eoc that much.
I wonder if jagex can see that the majority of players that are on these servers are not actually from 2007? It is blatantly obvious that the majority of the 07 playerbase is from after 2007, just look at how trading goes on, we have 90% of the trading going on at varrock west bank (which is right next to where the GE would be) and that It is not representative of the original people that asked for 07-06. 2007 has now became a place for refugees from 2012 who cant accept the fact that Eoc is here to stay.
