I think we need new content in rs 07, because 07 is slowly dying and loosing popularity

It could also be 'dying' and losing popularity because they are updating. thinks Jagex should honour the results of the original Old School Poll

I like 07scape as it is now. But there will be a day I will get bored if no new content will be added. I'm training now for barrows, fire cape and all those stuff. But once I got everything and done everything, what will I do next? I loved pre-eoc with GWD, hand cannons etc. These 'overpowered' weapons should come back in game. The only people complaining are mostly the ones that never had them. These make PvP alot better! People shouldn't be complaining because they die by some claws or AGS. The wilderness is supposed to be dangerous, isn't it? Atleast GWD should be back in game, maybe claws could too. But if only GWD would be added people only have to be careful for melee, so range and mage should get something too! Ranged could get its hand cannons back and mage its korasi. With these weapons you'll have to pay alot more attention in the wilderness and makes it far more dangerous. PvMers will have some very hard bosses, this would also take back the teaming. Almost everything now is just solo, that's gonna get boring.. And PvPers will have some great weapons and armours but with a risk. There should be a PvP world without protect item if these weapons come! So people can't complain about some rushers. Rushers on a world like that are also having a great risk, so instead of complaining just kill them! You wouldn't complain about an AGS if you just got one as a drop, would you? Since we got no GWD we got no valuable weapons/armour. Everyone can get 1,5M for a whip, but it's way harder to get 120M for a AGS like it was that time! Everyone can get money for some barrows armour, but what about bandos and armadyl? These items also gives players a goal to go for! Saving up for bandos or an AGS or hunting it yourself.

I'm sure the amount of players playing 07scape will get a huge boost with this. So many players quitted because of the special attacks removal. They would love the godswords and claws! All the pre-eoc pkers will give it a shot. This is a bit too oldschool! :P ~~~~Zer0 PvM - Lieutenant - Forum Bumper~~~~ :P

As a Mod started the thread, maybe they are still reading.

Would it be possible to give some feedback regarding Tyria Mine's idea of having 2 world's locked down (similar to what F2P got) with no updates made to those worlds?

Specifically

1) Would you consider doing these 2 worlds (even through a vote)

2) Would the worlds be update rolled back so they would be in the same situation as when OSRS was released (I.E. no leprechauns noting farming crops)

How about finding a 'middle ground'? A 'happy medium'?

Select 2 of the current servers and reboot them. Back to the original release of OSRS (none of the NEW content, none of the updates done so far).

Take these 2 servers and keep them exactly how OS was released (where nothing will EVER be added to these servers).

You gave pkers 2 f2p themed worlds, it wouldn't hurt you to offer those who want no updates 2 worlds where NOTHING would ever change.

Make peeps start over (again) if you wish. Wipe my bank and stats and any other requirement you deem necessary... but give us a couple of worlds where we can KNOW that none of the updates will impact on OUR game.

Lock the characters to the servers. Make it where accounts created for those servers can only play on those servers (and accounts created on current servers can't access these unchanging servers).

I know you can find a happy medium... you just have to want to.

After 10 days with no response to the idea (from jagex that is) I've come to the conclusion that they've already decided this isn't something they're willing to consider.

I had noticed there weren't any replies to this, I thought I could make one last request for information though.

I don't really want to be wasting my time or money much longer if the game is continuing as it is.
