i would like to see oldschool rs beeing updated all the time, it would keep the game alot more interesting. the things i would like to see rather soon are GWD, banktabs and runetek 5

I want the runecrafting guild back . I liked great orb project but my only concern is it will end up being all bots again . Grand Exchange I would like as well , but please have very fixed prices , if you have it like it is now in the live game there is a good chance clan chats will price manipulate items. God Wars seems like a good addition as well if you could exclude some items . I am not sure I like the idea of GodSwords being added into 2007 because it would likely decrease the demand for whips .Same reason I don't want Dragon Boots back in the game. It would drop the demand for rune boots. Nech task wouldn't seem so great anymore.. But with that said , if you could add GodSwords into the game by replacing whips or somehow making them comparable then do it! I like avansies because the addy bar drops and you can camp there both on a main account and a 1 def 43 prayer account and bones to peach tabs. The Dungeoneering skill pre-EOC was also very fun . I don't really like the idea of leeching floors though . Even though I did sell floors in the live game. Really , I don't like this because it takes away from people interacting with each other. If you could bring back dungeoneering with no chaotics but have some other reward to replace it / possibly like tokens for small xp amounts or tabs to runecrafting altars or even tabs to various location on runescape ( excluding major towns because that would kill the price of tele tabs ) But like maybe the zmi altar if you bring back the zmi or karamja near the fishing area .

I may add or edit this post in the future , if I have time Ill seperate each of my ideas and add more detail hi

there should be more challenging updates , which is the main point of old school.EOC made RS into a game without a challenge , it was way too easy, so most of players who enjoyed the "boring challenge" ( yes i know seems odd but i feel that way ) want old school back . so there should be no updates that make game easier , there should be updates that make game even harder and challenging.

Cheers Mat, that was a good read. It's a nice feeling that the players decide what can and can't go in the game, instead of being forced to adapt to any unexpected update.

In game, and in the forums this is heavily discussed.
The idea to cherry pick the favorite updates is a very interesting one which I hadn't considered. I myself are in full support of updating rs07, however I feel that it should be taken in a different direction to runescape in 2007. Perhaps some of the more popular things can return, but add different content than what was originally added

New updates, as long as the best of the best is my opinion

I support updating OSRS so that the game won't stagnate and there will be something new for players to try and to do. I think it would be good to have some new and unique content, some things that are different to the actual 2007 and beyond. I just don't want to see OSRS head toward EoC and SoF, nor become 'easy'scape. With a small team and with players being able to vote on updates, this could be an opportunity to take the game in a direction that more of us would continue to enjoy while maintaining the integrity of OSRS.

Yes! Please add thesee things :

- CLAN WARS (red/white/purple portal)
- GWD
- XP COUNTER
- DUNGEONEERING without any rewards, just the skill.
- HP/PRAY near minimap.

If these 5 things would be added, RS07 will be the best online game, ever.

And I will never get bored !

It is hard to know what kind of ideas we should even consider.

From what I understand, as a regular reader of these forums, is that there is no graphics compiler and there is no map editor, so giving us parameters to determine what are plausible ideas seems necessary.

Otherwise, it seems we would just squandering our time, energy and creativity.

There isn't any yet, but that won't always be the case.

Similar to the Skyrim creation kit?
