Completely agree with adding more new content.

Here's a few things to avoid though:

- Free experience
- Untradable items with bonuses (ie; torso, defender, etc)
- Training methods with high experience rates
- Content that undermines current items

If you're going to release higher tier items, make sure you do it in a way to create an item sink for lower tier items. Here's an example:

Dragon spikes (dropped by spiritual mages, if and when GWD comes) should be dropped as solo items instead of dragon boots. These spikes should be attached to rune boots which will create dragon boots. The dragon boots would be permanent, with no chance of being disassembled. This will create an item sink for rune boots to stop them from becoming completely devalued.

@Tyria I COMPLETELY agree. If content were added, i hope it will be "new". Not just things that were already put into the main game. What would be most exiting would to see old school branch off in a totally different direction.

Please take more time to read posts next time. He never said he was "right", he just said to keep an open mind to updates. 07scape WILL become less popular without new content, and the less popular it gets, Jagex will have to start charging for it. People are leaving because they are bored. As for adding content from the main game, we can always add new content; please consider this and don't flame other's ideas.

I didn't flame anybody's idea and he didn't say ''keep an open mind''.

It isn't '07scape' it's OLD SCHOOL and there will always be people who want to play OLD SCHOOL... BECAUSE it's Old School.

NEW content can't be added, while so many players are so determined that OS needs the main game's updates.

*facepalm* You truly don't get it do you?
I apologize for any lack of clarity. First off, "07scape" is what some people call OSRS, so don't even start about that. Second, he said you might find yourself having a more open mind so yes he did. Also, the OSRS version of dominion tower passed didn't it? That is new content. I've seen your posts on other threads, you don't seem to be able to see the other side's point of view. Please at least respect other's opinions.

I think the number one thing that needs to be taken care of is the random events. The chances of getting one are just way too high. For instance if sometimes you get random events the very second you log in, or if your skilling such as making bowstrings you get about five random events in just 30 minutes!. In my opinion the random events should be dramatically lowered in chance to receive one, along with not receiving a random event when fighting a monster.

@2 0 0 6. I agree with this completely, it makes sense to do it this way so that the economy doesn't alter so suddenly.

I agree. It could be fun to see OS take a direction not previously seen. Sadly, there are so few players who can expand their desire for nothing more than a pre-eoc server to see that possibility.

I'm much more likely to support NEW content, than content that has already been added (and contributed to the downfall of what RS once was).

Oh but that means I don't have an 'open mind' *giggles*
