To be perfectly honest, these so called "convenience updates" do anger me a bit. One of the reasons EoC is boring is because of the ease of everything. There are some things I don't want being "faster" or "more convenient" (eg. The left click to bank, how f*#$ing hard is it to right click a bank booth?! This wasn't even in the main game till 2011!);

But honestly, any major or moderately large update that makes the game significantly more fun without making it easier needs to be added.

So you're going on an endless rant because you think updates will ruin OSRS..even though you know damn well updates have passed and it has not been "ruined". If a greater number of players choose not to pass a vote on new content that is fine, if new content does pass then deal with it instead of raving over the forums about how you don't want to play. I will agree that some suggestions from Eoc in my opinion have just been ridiculous to say the least, people class these as "small" updates which make the game easier and less enjoyable for me. If there is something I am missing please let me know.

What you have to understand is everyone has a different opinion on what ruined the game for them.

You say some of the suggestions are ridiculous, but they might no be ridiculous to someone else. I think that's what your missing.

I myself did deal with the updates passing, I dealt with it by stopping playing

I don't see any signs that this game is headed down the road that Eoc went on. You've already answered the reason for players leaving, those who were bored and ones seeking temporary nostalgia from here. The ones who have stuck around have been at a decent number, yes it is less active than before but I doubt that is due to updates primarily.

I see every sign that the game is headed down the road the EOC version of the game went.

Pretty much every update added to the game so far has been taken from the main game, to me that means this game is heading in the same direction.

I think the only reason we don't have the convenience updates yet like Bank Tabs, the G.E., Resting etc is because they can't make them yet. If any of these updates had been offered then I personally believe they would all take over 75% of the vote easily. thinks Jagex should honour the results of the original Old School Poll

In my honest opinion i have played RuneScape for a while, and i remember starting just after the
Grand Exchange update
. I know a lot of people will be against this but i really do think that it is needed in a seperate update, because the fact that you cannot obtain some items you really need while training melee is very annoying and time consuming and also it would prevent so many scammers. :P

the only update i want is "forinthry dungeon" since eoc this dungeon sucks b4 the eoc update this place was one of the most populated places in runescape.
That would be great if we could get the "forinthry dungeon" and its not the mather of the money making its more mather for the pking in the wild whit no rules.

Things that would make the game too easy and less enjoyable, example being the grand exchange which would severely cut my playing time. I've noticed the updates being taken from the main game- I vote no for them on all of my accounts everytime, especially the ones that make OSRS more like EOC from suggestions such as "make a right-click for this please" or "please just one click for these features". Those are the class of updates that would "ruin" this game for me.

After much thought I guess this game could go downhill if the "just add this one thing from eoc" requests do not die down..as one updates turns to many as we all know.

NO SKILL-MODIFICATION UPDATES

"Zezima: I have stopped playing RuneScape competitively because it's getting progressively easier over time. With it getting easier to train skills and gain exp, I've lost a sense of accomplishment in what I've worked hard to achieve since I started in 2001. If things will continue to get easier, it ruins the game for those of us who have been here since the beginning."
