I've played RuneScape on different accounts since 2006, and i think a lot of the major mistakes Jagex made were the removal of pking, adding micro-transactions, eoc, and trade restrictions, in that order.
OSRS is like a time machine to a period before all of these mistakes, but with much improvement: player polls on content and decisions. those of you bashing the mods for asking us this should realize that they are only asking this because they want to know if we want it to be a part of our game, and are leaving the decision to US, as the players of their game.
While i don't support the Pay-To-WinScape RS3 has become, i think that Bonds could be a very beneficial attribute to OSRS, but only if done correctly. it was mentioned earlier in this forum discussion that a set limit on the amount of bonds a player could buy and then sell for gold could be the solution to not making this a pay to win game.
if you can only buy say * amount of bonds a week (certainly a number lower than 5-10??) i doubt the amount of gold could be used to get a true advantage over someone who farms for his gold in game.
however this could make another potential problem: would there be enough people selling bonds to meet the demand of people wanting to pay for their membership in game? i don't know but that could be addressed.
Another issue would be someone could make multiple accounts and just buy their limit on each one and then sell and transfer the gold. thereby going around the limit. obviously this breaks the standing rule of not trading between multiple accounts and i think it wouldn't be too hard for jagex to identify and ban those responsible of doing this by a gold transfer tracking system that watches what people who buy bonds do with it and can see what accounts they trade that gold too.
We could decide as a community the limit of bonds per day/week/month and make it so those that want to buy membership in game can without becoming a pay to win game.
Win-win for all!

I support bonds brought to the game i personally don't see the problem will help with the bot's problem. G0 bonds
will get rid off the clan's trading gp over much safer. you never know if you will end up scammed and lose your cash
