If IVP is going bankrupt and for some reason you NEED to add microtransactions to OSRS, fine, give us something that can only be redeemed for cosmetic gear/cosmetic upgrades/pets/emotes. Don't make the game a pay-to-win one.

I'd support bonds in OSRS but how would they be traded? OSRS doesn't have a GE for people mass trading bonds with a tax to cut down on people merching them.

No bonds please OSRS staff. Runescape 3 isn't even bad because of EOC anymore ... Runescape 3 is bad because of bonds. Bonds blew EOC out of the water in terms of what is ruining the game. Everyone in Runescape 3 is running around with level 200 combat and the highest tier armor (whatever they added in now... i have no idea what it is lol).

I do NOT support bonds or real world trading!

I don't understand why thinking of bonding is osrs knowing that we ask for this game just to keep all the rs3 away from the original game. Adding bonds will couse that rich people buy money to get better w/o even playing the game, and it won't stop RWT... Tbh adding Bonds is like making osrs--->rs2 easy.

And about f2p, I think that mods should rethink a way to make more people play osrs, either spliting the games or making a different membership for osrs. Bonds are not the solution to anything, only making the game easier.

Just a thought "The movement of gold between RuneScape and Old School via the gold swapping clans is well established and has been facilitating the use of bonds in Old School for a long time now.
Bringing bonds directly into Old School will remove the risk that gold swapping clans bring.
" Just acknowledged the risk that comes with gold swapping clans, how many clans are made purely to scam people since RS07 started? Seems to me if swapping was regulated somehow not through players but as an actual in game 100% safe transaction it would cut down on scamming and RWT by a significant amount.

RWT happens with or without bonds. 40% of all players have RWT'ed at least once in their time in RS according to Jagex.

I'd like bonds. You can also already buy wealth for OSRS without breaking rules, by buying bonds in RS3 then switching your wealth to old school.

Bonds would be a good thing imo

Bonds do almost nothing to stop RWT, only very slightly decrease illegal RWT. The people who currently RWT will most likely continue to RWT illegally, It's much cheaper.

The majority of people who will buy bonds are the people who haven't RWT'd in the past or don't currently because it is too risky of getting hacked, scammed or banned.

Bonds are just giving the people who are too afraid to RWT with a risk the opportunity for a convenient and safe method to do it. People who are willing to do it illegally will continue to, it's much cheaper.

They should ban swapping, continue to fight against RWT and bots, and forget about the whole idea. I can't believe they're even considering this.
