Come now, Mod Ronan, you may as well admit that Mod MMG and the rest of the RS3 cronies and delinquents coerced the Old School team into pushing this up the agenda. After all, why simply profit from membership when you can plunder your members' pockets through microtransactions.

This is a slippery slope, and you know it.

Ill be voting yes but I dont see the poll passing

Imo, bonds were the perfect microtransaction or whatever you want to call it
It benefits the players and Jagex

Built in money sink: Theres a tax when trading bonds, that gold is deleted from the game(i think thats how it works, ive never used bonds i just read about them when they were added)

Doesnt affect prices: No gold farmers involved so prices dont change(if anything they go up since people could buy bonds, sell for gp, and then do herblore or whatever)

Keeps people playing: Players can pay for membership with in-game gold, new players can buy a bond or two and sell it to get themselves started. Keeps old players, gets new players
For that first part to work f2p needs to be at least added in a way so people can buy/activate their bonds if their membership runs out or like if they quit for a month then theyll have to be able to login to buy/activate their bond

All that and Jagex still gets paid. Win/win(win-win?)

You all should of known this was coming.
After all, Jagex is a corporation whos goal is simply to profit.
More money in their pockets, and less value in our game.
Dont sellout OSRS and make skills buyable for real $. VOTE NO

I would very much like to buy bonds in OSRS with gold rather than having to go to RS3.

Probably would need a cap on the amount that can be bought though so to appease all the haters that only see the negatives. Especially since this already happens with gold swapping and bond trading clans.

(I also like some of the previous posters ideas about being able to change your In game name via a bond)

Honestly only reason I would want to go there was IF there was an old school panel, or to be able to meet and talk/discuss things with the old school mods, maybe go to the pub with them or grab some chips. Besides that I would really have no interest in going.

Neutral opinion for me, I would be fine if they were introduced only as a means to buy membership or runefest tickets.
