Up to 10 minutes would be desirable time for trades to remain visible after a player logged out. I think offers should be remembered after that, but simply be invisible for other players. The player can then simply activate the offers again when he/she logs back in by clicking an activation button.

It may be good to put a daily limit of trades that can be made via the AH (both selling and buying) of let's say 5 to 10 trades? That way OldSchool trading will still be used by players that wish to trade a lot, and people who just need an item quickly can use the AH to buy/sell it quickly.

It's a great idea, but honestly i don't know why we can't get G.E?
Most of the people that don't want it, is simply cuz they're scammers / lurers / hackers etc. But this is better than nothing. Good idea. :D

am i the only one who can play the game perfectly fine with the current trade system? we don't need this, its fine as it is now. economy is **** already and you can't make it better with adding this auction house thing. first ban all the bots and take **** price guide offline, then you can start thinking about stuff like this. really, go ahead and spend months of dev time on this project, it won't help anything :)

One problem I could see with this is that allowing the players to view offers by the lowest price may cause a few of the items to crash, due to constant sniping. No guarantees though.

I have a problem with organizing it by the lowest price because that's the function everyone will use and it makes the AH remarkably similar to the Grand Exchange. I don't have a problem with sorting by the cheapest TOTAL price, but I don't want it to sort by the cheapest price PER ITEM.

Another good reason to NOT have offline trading. This will make the buyer have to buy from someone who is online and maybe for-go the better (lower) price because the other seller is offline.

^I'd rather this then having to wonder if what I'm buying is over-priced or not. (yes I want zy trading!)

Please don't do it. This would ruin Old school. This is basically another Grand Exchange. The only reason in opinion that people play old school it's because of the combat system and the interacting of trading items.

Well, you're half right. But the reason people DON'T play OSRS is because of the trade system.

Are you actually this brainwashed? People don't play Runescape anymore because Jagex ruined it in the past with broken updates like Grand exchange, removing free trade and pking, releasing summoning and implementing disgusting graphical "improvements". The game became unplayable and people quit to move on with their lives; simple as that. Runescape used to be huge, but now it's just a disgrace compared to what it used to be.

Lots of people are coming back to enjoy the glory days of this game, not because of nostalgia but because the game is actually good. If they release all the broken updates again then those people will quit (including me) and the only players left will be RS3 players that don't care anyways.
